The London Suede and Manic Street Preachers Announce North American 2022 Co-Headlining Tour
The London Suede and Manic Street Preachers are hitting the road together. The UK ’90s stalwarts have announced a co-headlining tour, making a rare trek across North America in November 2022. The 12-date outing begins on November 3rd in Vancouver. Suede and the Manics will then hit major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Boston, New York City, and Toronto throughout the month, concluding in Toronto on the 24th. The bands will take turns closing out each night of the tour. Ticket pre-sale begins this Wednesday, September 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use code VENUE), with general on-sale following Friday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. local. English singer-songwriter Sam Fender has canceled his remaining 2022 US tour dates to take care of his mental health. The Afghan Whigs Share New Album How Do You Burn?: Stream
The Afghan Whigs have revealed their new album, How Do You Burn?, the band’s first release in five years. Greg Dulli and co. first got to work on How Do You Burn? in September 2020. Despite the years apart, the band were able to assemble the album remotely, with frontman Dulli, his co-producer Christopher Thorn and drummer Patrick Keeler together in California, bassist John Curley in Cincinnati, guitarist Jon Skibic in New Jersey, and strings man Rick Nelson in New Orleans. “Once we got the system down, we started flying,” Dulli says in a press release. Post Malone, who might’ve been the world’s greatest grunge singer if he hadn’t first become a stinking rich pop star, has shared another portal to that alternate reality. His social media accounts unveiled a clip of him covering Pearl Jam’s version of “Last Kiss,” itself a cover of Wayne Cochran’s 1961 original. Siouxsie and the Banshees have announced a new archival album celebrating the autumn season. Entitled All Souls, the 10-track collection was personally curated by frontwoman Siouxsie Sioux, who also directed the cover artwork. In coming up with the tracklist, Siouxsie collated both classic tracks like “Spellbound” and “Halloween” and rarities such as “El Dia De Los Muertos” and “Supernatural Thing.” Check out the full tracklist below.
