Guns N’ Roses Sue Online Gun Store Named “Texas Guns and Roses”

Guns N’ Roses have filed a lawsuit against an online gun store named “Texas Guns and Roses,” according to NBC News Los Angeles. Attorneys representing the band filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court, alleging that the store — operated by Jersey Village Florist — sells firearms, ammunition, scopes, and body armor via mail “without GNR’s approval, license or consent.” The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and a court order prohibiting the use of the website name. Furthermore, the band alleges that Jersey Village Florist “selected and adopted defendant’s marks for the purpose of confusing consumers into believing that it was connected or associated with, or licensed by, GNR.” The lawsuit states that the online store purports to sell roses and other flora to justify “whole appropriatio...

Larry Mullen Jr.: If U2 Tours in 2023, It Won’t Be With Me

U2 have had the same four-piece lineup since 1976, but according to drummer Larry Mullen Jr., that could change in 2023. In a new interview with The Washington Post, Mullen said he probably wouldn’t join the band on the road if they decide to tour next year, since he requires surgery from years of performing. “You only do this if you’re having the best time,” Mullen stated. “And not everyone is going to make it because the price is so high. So I think the challenge is for more generosity. More openness to the process. I am autonomous and I value my autonomy. I don’t sing from the same hymn sheet. I don’t pray to the same version of God. So everyone has their limits. And you only do this if it is a great time you’re having, you know?” That said, Mullen’s statement seems more like a pragmati...

Regardless in the interest of public safety from now on we’ll refrain from tossing the...

Harry Styles Honors Late Christine McVie with “Songbird” Cover in Chile: Watch

It’s no secret that the music and culture of the ’70s are big inspirations for Harry Styles. Naturally, the pop star paid tribute to Christine McVie, who died earlier this week at 79, with a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Songbird” at his show in Santiago, Chile last night. “Songbird” was one of the songs written and sung solely by McVie on Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 masterpiece Rumours. Styles doesn’t often play instruments during his shows, but he stayed faithful to the original recording by playing acoustic guitar, backed by a piano. The vocal melodies are also higher than Styles tends to go for in his own songs, but he manages to pull it off exceptionally well. After the song finished, he blew a kiss towards the sky, and from what we’ve seen in clips from the performance, there weren’t many dry e...

Zayn’s version keeps the original’s instrumentals with his vocals swapped in: “Being asked to collaborate to celebrate @jimihendrix 80th birthday was such an unexpected and huge honour,” the pop star wrote on Twitter. “I have so much respect and admiration for Jimi, his music and fans. ‘Angel’ is out now – hope you love the track as much as I do. Happy 80th Jimi.” Hendrix’s estate gave their blessing, as well: “We are plea...
