Billboard reports that New Orleans artist Samuel Nicholas claims tha the “bounce” sound in those two Drake songs are “directly copying” his 2000 track “Roll Call (Instrumental).” The prior two times Nicholas has filed the lawsuit have been dismissed since he failed to actually litigate them. Nicholas is claiming that Drake’s producer BlaqNmilD, also known as Adam J. Pigott, sampled his song.
