We’ll never know what Adele’s Las Vegas residency looked like back in January when she tearfully canceled the shows on the eve of opening night. But after Friday’s (Nov. 18) first performance of Weekends With Adele at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, we know exactly what it looks like now: utterly and breathlessly spectacular. The beloved British singer/songwriter addressed the cancellation toward the end of the two-hour-plus concert, calling it “the worst feeling I’ve ever had but the best decision I’ve ever made.” It’s hard to argue with her after seeing all the massive technical flourishes and tiny thoughtful touches that color the 20-song set. It’s clear that Adele lovingly dedicated the past 10 months to creating the intimate show of her dreams, and the lucky 4,000-plus fans who got t...

The year is 2009. I’m at my mom’s crib in Corpus on her big ass desktop computer. Gas station food. Hot ass afternoons. Washing cars for money. As most of us did, I shut down once I hit middle school. I was afraid to be vulnerable with my mom. I remember not feeling good enough for my dad. I remember pretending to be somebody new depending on who I was around. I used to wanna be an actor. My 14-year-old self was in pain. I was lost. Trapped. Broke. And so I dreamt. For reasons similar, but unique, everyone in this group dreamt too. That post on the forum was an olive branch. Everyone took a risk. We found each other and planted our own trees. I had a vision when I posted, but the way it would end up not only changing my life but having an impact on the culture we grew up on? Thank you. I t...

Following the release of his single with Yung Gravy and bbn0$, Rich Brian is back with a self-directed music video for his track “VIVID” featuring $NOT. Heading to the driving range at night, Rich Brian is seen swinging away at frown-faced golf balls as he reminisces on the mixed feelings he has about a past relationship, taking jabs while treasuring the memories. Joining him is $NOT who’s hooded up as usual with RC Car shots continuing to deliver his signature motorsport visuals. With scenes of a gun-toting mystery man and Rich Brian surrounded by a circle of golden lucky cats, the track is as carefree as it is somber. “This song was the result of this one week I started listening to Musiq Soulchild & thought to myself what if there’s hard ass 808’s on this and turns out it sounds pre...
