Moor Mother Announces New Album Jazz Codes, Shares New Video: Watch

Camae Ayewa has announced the new Moor Mother album Jazz Codes, which comes out July 1 via Anti-. The follow-up to last year’s Black Encyclopedia of the Air is led by the new song “Woody Shaw,” featuring Melanie Charlies. Check out the music video for the single below. “It’s poetry that drives this album,” Ayewa said in a statment. “The stories of these artists and countless others not named but felt—is the leading motivation. I wanted to honor & give offerings, hold them in my body, dream with them, send sweetness.” Moor Mother is the executive producer of Jazz Codes, and she worked with producer Olof Melander on the album. Bonny Light Horseman Announce New Album and Tour, Share New Song “California”: Listen

Bonny Light Horseman—the trio of Anaïs Mitchell, Eric D. Johnson, and Josh Kaufman—have announced the follow-up to their Grammy-nominated 2020 self-titled album. Rolling Golden Holy is out October 7 via 37d03d. Jack White is back with another new song. “If I Die Tomorrow” is the latest single from his second new album of 2022, Entering Heaven Alive. It comes with a video directed by Brantley Gutierrez. Watch it below. Entering Heaven Alive arrives on July 22 via Third Man. It features the previously shared singles “Love Is Selfish” and “Queen of the Bees” and it follows Fear of the Dawn.
