Phoebe Bridgers, Megan Thee Stallion, Angel Olsen, Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Billie Eilish, and more are among the artists who have signed the letter, which is part of Planned Parenthood’s #BansOffOurBodies campaign, in opposition of the Supreme Court’s plan to overturn Roe v. Wade, as laid out in a leaked draft opinion. Find the advertisement below. My Chemical Romance returns to the music scene with their new single “The Foundations of Decay.” The track is the band’s first official release since they broke up in 2013. Clocking in at six minutes, the song is decadent and intricately layered with MCR’s familiar riffs and lead singer Gerard Way’s hauntingly operatic vocals. There’s a long buzzy buildup that opens the tune and suddenly crescendos into a climactic chorus: Let our bodies lay while our hearts will stay,Let our blood invade if I die in pain,Now, if your convictions were a passing phase,May your ashes feed the river in the morning rays,And as the vermin crawls,We lay in the foundations of decay, The track swims between slow whispery tempos and epic screams, much like the vintage MCR sound fans have grown to love. The My Chemi...
