My Chemical Romance Drops New Song “The Foundations of Decay”

My Chemical Romance returns to the music scene with their new single “The Foundations of Decay.” The track is the band’s first official release since they broke up in 2013. Clocking in at six minutes, the song is decadent and intricately layered with MCR’s familiar riffs and lead singer Gerard Way’s hauntingly operatic vocals. There’s a long buzzy buildup that opens the tune and suddenly crescendos into a climactic chorus: Let our bodies lay while our hearts will stay,Let our blood invade if I die in pain,Now, if your convictions were a passing phase,May your ashes feed the river in the morning rays,And as the vermin crawls,We lay in the foundations of decay, The track swims between slow whispery tempos and epic screams, much like the vintage MCR sound fans have grown to love. The My Chemi...

NBA Twitter Declares The Ben Simmons & James Harden Trade An Absolute Bust

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Tim Nwachukwu / Getty The Ben Simmons and James Harden trade is looking like it didn’t benefit either the Brooklyn Nets or Philadelphia 76ers. After the Philadelphia 76ers got bounced out of the playoffs by Jimmy Butler, and the Miami Heat Thursday night (May.12), NBA Twitter ultimately decided that the trade between the Nets and Sixers didn’t benefit either franchise. Harden, who has been a shell of his former self since he was dealt from the Houston Rockets to the Nets, kept his playoff legacy of disappearing during the postseason going. Yes, you read that correctly, just TWO shots. Stephen A....
