Reason Pops Off on New Song “Sauce” Featuring Vince Staples: Stream

While some people might prefer a plain life, Reason is living for the “Sauce” on his new song featuring Vince Staples. “Sauce” is a summery track, perfect for driving along the California coastline with the windows down and the volume up. It’s built over a relaxed piano refrain, stunting drums, and a subterranean bass. During the chorus, Reason raps the way a schoolkid skips, with a couple syllables to gather momentum followed by a moment of suspension. “I might slip, I don’t fall, if I slip, I might crawl,” he spits. As he’s been doing his whole career Vince Staples steals the show with an exuberant guest verse. Here, he takes aim at  the police. “Hit the block, chip the bars, yuh/ Catch a pig, Randy Moss, yuh/ I don’t rock with the police none/ Don’t ditch the Glock when the police ...

Despite having a jam-packed career filled with dozens of iconic roles, Samuel L. Jackson is only just now gearing up for his first-ever regular television role. According to Variety, the legendary actor will be reprising his role as Nick Fury for a yet another new Marvel series on Disney+. Jackson first debuted as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. in a post-credits scene in 2008’s Iron Man. Most recently, he showed up in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame, and was digitally de-aged for a co-starring role in Captain Marvel. All 45 Seasons of Saturday Night Live Coming to Peacock Next Week

Streaming from NBCUniversal’s Peacock, it’s Saturday Night Live! All 45 seasons of the sketch comedy series are coming to the streaming service on October 1st, marking the first time the full library has been available in one place in years. When Peacock launched over the summer, only the most recent five seasons were included alongside some “Best of” collections. Hulu, meanwhile, has continued to host Seasons 1-5 and 30-45, but episodes from 1981 to 2004 have been nowhere to be found. In fact, the last place the full SNL library could be seen was on NBCU’s comedy app Seeso, which only survived for about a year and a half between 2016 and 2017. Netflix and Hulu both held the complete catalog in the early 2010s, while a later deal put it on Yahoo for a brief period. The short-lived SNL...

Aminé Performs in Hot Air Balloon on Kimmel: Watch

Aminé soared over Los Angeles in a hot air balloon for his Thursday performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The balloon itself was a statement, festooned in Black Lives Matter messaging, flags of countries, and religious symbols from around the world. While attempting to honor the lives of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Sandra Bland, Aminé made a broader statement about the interconnectedness of humanity. The rapper launched into the two opening tracks of his new album Limbo, but in reverse order. First, he essayed his latest single “Woodlawn”. Lines like “Came a long way from that Woodlawn Park,” hit differently at 2,200 feet. After landing, Aminé stepped inside the balloon itself, transforming a mode of transportation into a dramatic venue. He played “Burd...

Bon Iver Performs “22 (OVER S∞∞N)” on Colbert: Watch

Even with Bernie Sanders out of the presidential race, longtime supporter Justin Vernon is still very closely following the 2020 Election. In fact, earlier this week, the Bon Iver leader helped launch For Wisconsin, a “get-out-the-vote” initiative in his home state. “Free speech and freedom begin and end with voting,” read a statement. “If you don’t mark your ballot someone else will define your Wisconsin and your future.” In support of this new campaign, Vernon delivered a #PlayAtHome performance for the Late Show with Stephen Colbert this afternoon. With his equipment set up in front of a large window, the indie rocker unfurled “22 (OVER S∞∞N)”, from his 2016 Bon Iver album 22, A Million. Throughout the appearance, Vernon’s face was covered by a message imploring Wisconsin nati...

Aaron Carter Is Now Doing Porn

With live music shut down for the foreseeable future, artists are looking for new ways to make money. Some are selling face masks, others are live-streaming concerts. Aaron Carter is doing porn. The former child pop star has been a regular presence on the adult film site CamSoda since joining earlier this month. In fact, according to a press release (yes, there’s a press release about this!), Carter’s first-ever live show became the most popular private event in CamSoda’s six-year history. Viewers of Carter’s shows have been treated to a multi-faceted experience involving music (Carter sings and plays guitar in the nude), dancing, and fan Q&As, along with other sultry activities that you’d expect from a cam show. In addition to CamSoda, Carter has created his own OnlyFans account, for ...

Beastie Boys’ Final Concert at Bonnaroo 2009 Is Streaming on YouTube All Weekend: Watch

As the coronavirus pandemic looms on, many artists are stepping up to the plate to help fans pass the time by uploading archival footage from years past. Now, Beastie Boys are doing their part by sharing their final concert ever, their 2009 headlining performance at Bonnaroo, for free on YouTube all weekend long. The performance actually aired on Thursday night during the kickoff to Bonnaroo’s Virtual ROO-ALITY three-day streaming event, but apparently that wasn’t enough for fans. “The last gig,” the group tweeted on Friday. “We’ve heard from so many fans around the world that were unable to tune in last night, so our friends at Bonnaroo are letting the set live online through the weekend.” The rap icons never planned to make this Bonnaroo set their last. At the time, Beastie Boys had...

Aldis Hodge Joins DC’s Black Adam Movie as Hawkman

While the Justice League is reassembling over on HBO Max, another DC Comics super-team is making its way to the big screen. As star Dwayne Johnson revealed last month during the DC FanDome event, the forthcoming Black Adam movie will feature the Justice Society of America. Now come reports that Aldis Hodge has been recruited to be the group’s Hawkman. The Hollywood Reporter has it that the One Night in Miami and The Invisible Man actor has been cast as the high-flying hero in Black Adam. Hodge joins the previously announced Noah Centineo, who’s playing Atom Smasher, as well as Johnson in the titular role. Hawkman was one of the original members of the JSA, comics’ first-ever team of superheros that debuted in the early 1940s. In contemporary times, he is Carter Hall, an archaeologist with ...

Tory Lanez Releases Ill-Advised Album About Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

Until today, Tory Lanez had remained largely silent about allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in July. Now, though, the rapper born Daystar Peterson has finally broken his silence on the matter, but not by publicly apologizing or even issuing a simple statement. No, instead the Canadian MC has released a whole damn album denying Megan’s claims and bemoaning their impact on his career. Quick recap: Tory Lanez was arrested in mid-July on concealed weapons charges. A few days later, Megan revealed she’d actually been shot in the foot prior to his arrest. About a month after that, the “WAP” rapper confirmed rumors that it was indeed Lanez behind the trigger. Which brings us to last night. After disappearing from social media following the arrest and shooting, Lanez ret...

Alamo Drafthouse Patrons Can Rent an Entire Theater to Watch Movies with Friends

Indoor spaces are still a high-risk area during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It’s an unfortunate reality that has already cost the film industry $20 billion this year, despite some theaters choosing to reopen this summer and others suing for not being able to. But now, Alamo Drafthouse has a new workaround option that falls squarely in the middle: rent an entire theater for yourself! According to Entertainment Weekly, the beloved Texas-based theater chain is allowing patrons to rent out an entire theater for themselves — as well as “their pandemic pod family and friends” — for $150. An additional charge of $150 minimum is also applied for the group’s food and beverages, which are served directly to moviegoers in their seats by staff members wearing masks. This option will be available...
