The Batman Halts Production After Robert Pattinson Tests Positive for Coronavirus: Report

After resuming filming just three days ago, production has been halted because, according to Deadline, a person on set has tested positive for coronavirus. Update: Vanity Fair reports that The Dark Knight himself, Robert Pattinson, is the one who tested positive. Principal photography kicked off in January of this year in London. Then, like everything else, it underwent a great shock in March as the pandemic overran the globe. According to Reeves, they had only shot about 25% of the movie. After years of fans asking the cast of The Princess Bride to reunite, they can finally respond truthfully with, “As you wish.” Next weekend, the beloved actors will come together for a virtual table read to help raise money for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. The fundraiser, dubbed “A Virtual Princess Bride Reunion”, will be a one-night-only event featuring Cary Elwes, Robin Wright, Chris Sarandon, Mandy Patinkin, Wallace Shawn, Carol Kane, director Rob Reiner, and other “special guests.” There will also be a Q&A portion moderated by Patton Oswalt. SNL to Re-Air Chadwick Boseman-Hosted Episode This Evening
Saturday Night Live will celebrate Chadwick Boseman this evening by re-airing the lone episode he hosted. On the heels of Black Panther, Boseman hosted SNL in April 2018. The episode notably featured a Black Jeopardy sketch in which the Marvel actor portrays T’Challa and calls out Karen for putting raisins in her bland ass potato salad. The clip went viral in the wake of Boseman’s passing, amassing nearly 30 million views to date. The SNL episode will air this evening at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Meet the Inmate Who Attacked R Kelly with a Pen in Jail
The man who allegedly attacked R Kelly in jail last month has been identified as Jeremiah Shane Farmer, a member of the Latin Kings gang who was convicted last year of beating two men to death with a hammer. At the time of the attack, Kelly was sleeping in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. According to Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg, Farmer crept into the cell and began “stomping on [Kelly’s] head, repeatedly.” Farmer also allegedly had “an ink pen with him that he was going to use to stab Mr. Kelly.” Because of the attack, Greenberg is requesting that Kelly be released from jail on bail until his federal sex crimes trial begins later this year. Earlier this year, Hop Along frontwoman Frances Quinlan issued her excellent debut under her own name, Likewise. The album quickly became one of our favorite of the year — though technically speaking it wasn’t her first solo release. She initially launched Hop Along as a solo project, dropping the freshman year LP back in 2005. Today, in celebration of that record’s 15th anniversary, Quinlan has released it to streaming services for the very first time, in addition to sharing a brand new EP of tracks from that era called more songs from 2005. Supergroup Killer Be Killed have announced their second album, Reluctant Hero.
