Netflix has made it easier for users to share their favorite scenes from movies and TV shows with their friends. The feature is called Moments and allows users to save and send cuts while they’re streaming.Whether an action-packed sequence from Squid Game or a battle with the otherworldly in Stranger Things, a user can simply tap the Moments button at the bottom of their screen and it’ll save the scene to their My Netflix Tab. The Office is getting another remake and this time, Ricky Gervais' career-launching sitcom is receiving a Mexican adaptation titled La Oficina.The Mexican remake is set to hit Prime Video and will be developed in tandem with Amazon MGM Studios and Gary “Gaz” Alazraki’s Máquina Vega. Alazraki is known for directing and producing major hits like Nosotros los Nobles and Club de Cuervos. Alazraki is set to be the director and executive producer of La Oficina while Marcos Bucay will be the showrunner. The overall deal will allow La Oficina to be available exclusively on Prime Video in Latin American, Brazil and Spain. Sony Pictures' Venom: The Last Dance opening has seen a slower opening that its predecessors within the franchise in North America. Making $22 million USD from 4,131 domestic theaters across Friday and previews, the numbers are much lower than the first-day debuts of the first and second Venom film.The first Venom film which released in 2019, drew in $32 million USD on the first date and its 2021 sequel Let There Be Carnage hit $37 million USD, making Venom: The Last Dance the lowest earning within the franchise so far. The lower number lands behinds initial projections and forecasts which originally expected the film to land $65 million USD on opening weekend. Kid Cudi has signed on to the cast of Happy Gilmore 2, Deadline reported first. A sequel to the 1996 film of the same name, the original follows a failed ice hockey player who attempts to rally money to prevent the foreclosure of his grandmother’s home.The specifics of Cudi’s role haven’t been revealed but the artist will be joining a cast that includes Adam Sandler and Christopher McDonald reprising their roles as Happy Gilmore and Shooter McGavin, respectively. Julie Bowen will also be returning as Virginia Venit.Rounding out the main cast are Nick Swardson, Benny Safdie, Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley and Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Netflix has announced a documentary on Jerry Springer and his namesake talk show.
