Ryan Murphy and John Landgraf are not quite done with American Horror Story and it looks like they might be bringing more to the screen. Landgraf, FX chairman, recently clarified to Variety that the series was "never meant" to be over. He said, "One of the reasons that I thought that American Horror Story was such a brilliant idea was because Ryan loves to invent things. He loves to create worlds. American Horror Story gave Ryan an opportunity to just create all these worlds. But having done it 12 years in a row, I think there was just an appetite for something different, something fresh. Rick and Morty has officially been renewed up until Season 12 at Adult Swim, taking the series all the way to at least 2029. The Emmy-winning animated series has been greenlit for the next five season, with the eight arriving in 2025. Season 10's renewal was only announced in 2023 and now, just a year later, the show has been announced for its 12th season. The news comes from executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder who said announced it this week during its New York Comic Con panel. Universal has officially set an opening date for Epic Universe, its fourth theme park in Orlando, Florida. Set to open on May 22, 2025, Epic has been dubbed the company’s most ambitious park to date and is reportedly located on a 750-acre lot.The park will be made up of five worlds dedicated to different Universal movie franchises, including Nintendo, Harry Potter and How to Train Your Dragon.
