Olympus is calling at Disney+ with the official release of the trailer for the upcoming series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The series, which is based on Rick Riordan's popular young adult book series of the same name, follows a 12-year-old boy named Percy, played by Walker Scobell. While he does lead a normal life, he later learns that he is actually a half-blood -- half human, half Greek god. As the son of Poseidon, Percy moves to Camp Half-Blood, where he meets other demigod children who also receive protection and training to hone in their unique skills. Fans finally have an official release date for Donald Glover's upcoming Prime Video project. Glover's newly created series with Francesca Sloane Mr. & Mrs. Smith is slated to arrive on the platform early next year. Glover stars in the series alongside Maya Erskine. They both play two lonely strangers who are undercover as married couple and working with a mysterious spy agency. However, inevitably, they fall in love. The series is inspired by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's 2005 spy film of the same name. Ted – as in the raunchy talking teddy bear – is a name we haven't heard in years, seeing as the original Seth MacFarlane-penned film is now over a decade old. Pedro Pascal is reportedly up for the role of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four.Sources tell Deadline that the Emmy nominee is currently still discussing the terms and that "a deal is far from done." The new film will be helmed by Matt Shakman and produced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Just a little over a year after Marvel announced that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton would helm the next mager superhero ensemble film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, news has now surfaced that he has departed the projects. King of the Hill co-creator Greg Daniels revealed that the beloved show's reboot may not hit Hulu until 2025.Speaking to TVLine, Daniels revealed that some pre-production work on the revival had already begun prior to the writers and actors strike, including a table read of two episodes. Netflix has partnered with The Pokémon Company for a new stop-motion series titled Pokémon Concierge.The series gives fans a glimpse of where Pokémons go when the need a break. Taking place at a peaceful resort fit for relaxation, the Pokémon's are looked after by a team of concierges. The storyline follows newcomeer Haru as she learns to take care of the Pokémon guests. In a recent conversation with Business Insider, the director spoke about whether or not he is planning on making a fifth Thor film. While there is currently not a fifth film in the studio's upcoming plans, Waititi commented on the recent social media rumors that there is a Thor 5 currently in development, "I wouldn't know if that's accurate.
