Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is nearing a deal for a new series focusing on the world of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter.Two sources tell Bloomberg that each of the show's seasons will "be based on" one of Rowling's seven published books, and that the author will be involved in the creation process "to ensure it remains loyal to her original material" but will not serve as a showrunner. Disney has officially confirmed a Moana live-action remake is in the works. Dwayne Johnson is set to return and reprise his role as Maui. In a recent shareholders meeting on April 3, Disney revealed the news alongside a video announcement from The Rock.
