Comedian Jerrod Carmichael will star in and executive-produce a "comedy documentary series" about his own life. As part of his overall deal with HBO, the show will follow Carmichael "through encounters with friends, family, and strangers, all in his quest for love, sex and connection.”Filmmaker Ari Katcher, who has previously worked with the comedian on Hulu's Ramy, NBC's The Carmichael Show and On the Count of Three, will direct the untitled project.
