In the comics, the Thunderbolts are something like Marvel’s version of the Suicide Squad consisting of a group of reformed super-criminals led by Baron Helmut Zemo. While initially formed by Zemo as a cover to steal city resources, the team later becomes a true force for good in the world. Prime Video has officially renewed The Boys for a fourth season. The streaming service confirmed the news just a week after the TV series adaptation premiered its third season, with Prime Video stating that the show experienced a 17% increase from season two and 234% from season one in worldwide audiences. “The Boys continues to push boundaries in storytelling while also being relentlessly entertaining and threading the needle on social satire that feels all too real,” Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, said in a statement. “This stylized world of the series has incredible global reach and the viewership for opening weekend is proof of that. The foul-mouthed teddy bear Ted is set to return as a TV series on Peacock. The show is expected to be a prequel to the 2012 film. According to Deadline, Seth MacFarlane is set to produce the show alongside Erica Huggins via the former’s Fuzzy Door production banner. MacFarlane is currently under negotiation to make a return to voice Ted. However, it is unlikely that Wahlberg and Kunis will return for the series. During Geeked Week, Netflix revealed the announcement trailer for the spinoff series of Frederator Studios’ Castlevania animated series entitled Castlevania: Nocturne. The upcoming series will be led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and writer Clive Bradley. Castlevania: Nocturne will star Richter Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont family, and Maria Renard, and will be set during the French Revolution in 1792. As Peaky Blinders wraps up its sixth and final season this summer, fans are gearing up for the feature-length film that was announced just over a year ago. In a new interview with Deadline, Cillian Murphy who stars as the titular Tommy Shelby character in the series revealed that he does not know much of what is going on with the film. The streamer and show’s director, writer and executive producer confirmed the news in a statement, teasing the return of characters such as Lee Jung-jae’s Seong Gi-hun, The Front Man, Gong Yoo’s “man in the suit” and even the boyfriend of Young-hee, the deadly animatronic doll, named Cheol-su. “It took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year. With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on its way out and Thor: Love and Thunder just around the corner, Marvel is showing no signs of slowing down, with the studio now announcing the release of an extended cut of one of its largest recent successes: Spider-Man: No Way Home. According to reports, Sony and Marvel will be rereleasing the epic title later this year, but calling it The More Fun Stuff Version, which includes both never-seen-before additional scenes as well as extended cuts of scenes already in the film. More than three decades after the game made its debut, Duke Nukem is finally getting its very own feature film. Marvel has dropped yet another teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder in anticipation for their ticket sales. The sneak peek gives audiences a better look at supporting characters Valkyrie, played by Tessa Thompson and Gorr the God-Butcher, played by Christian Bale in the expected action sequence.
