Building on the anticipation behind Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Studios has partnered with Target for a new ad spot. The short serves to highlight the important place of young black women in the fields of science and technology. In the one-minute clip, Dominique Thorne, playing Riri Williams/Ironheart, is seen working on her armor suit. Caught up in trying to figure out a feasible resource for her creation, Williams gains inspiration from a young girl who also is exploring the construction of a renewable energy source. ‘Creed III’ Reveals Official Poster With New Release Date

The arrival of Creed III is near with the revealing of the new promotional posters alongside the official release date. The third iteration of the Rocky spin-off series sees the return of Michael B. Jordan alongside the new addition of Jonathan Majors. Also returning are castmates Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and more. The newly released promotional posters showcase Michael B. Quavo is making his on-screen debut in the upcoming action thriller film Takeover. Starring alongside Billy Zane, who is known for his role in Titanic, the rapper will portray Guy Miller, a former criminal in Atlanta, Georgia, looking to get his life back on track. Miller ends up sucked back in, however, this time falling into the city’s illicit street racing scene. Zane, meanwhile, will play a character named Gamal Akopyan that runs an international heist ring. Following rumors that he would enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe earlier this month, Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast of Captain America: New World Order, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The top-shelf actor will appear in the role of General Ross, which was previously played by the late William Hurt. The film, directed by The Cloverfield Paradox‘s Julius Onah, stars Anthony Mackie reprising his character of Sam Wilson. Adam Sandler Adds More Dates to Fall 2022 Standup Comedy Tour

Adam Sandler has added seven more dates to his upcoming Fall 2022 standup comedy tour. The comic has extended his tour from a 15-date to a 22-date engagement that will now take place until December. Fans can catch Sandler kick off the tour on October 20 in Uncasville, Phoenix and in areas like Boston, Atlantic City and Raleigh until mid-November. The comic will take a short break before resuming the tour in San Diego on December 4, when he will also appear in San Francisco, Sacramento, San Manuel, two nights in Las Vegas and, finally, in Phoenix for the closing date of December 11. The new poster offers the first full look at Halle Bailey as Ariel, perched on a rock formation staring up at the surface of the water. Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane, best known for bringing warmth, kindness and strength to the role of Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film franchise, has passed away at 72 years old. Coltrane’s passing was announced by his managers, though a cause of death has not yet been specified. Coltrane played Hagrid in all eight Harry Potter movies, from 2001’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone to 2011’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. Martin Scorsese has boarded Miramax Television’s adaptation of Herbert Asbury’s 1927 non-fiction book The Gangs of New York. According to reports, the revered filmmaker is set to executive produce the possible series as well as direct its first two episodes. Brett Leonard, the playwright and TV writer, has written the script and will co-executive produce alongside Scorsese and his managers, Rick Yorn and Chris Donnelly. Netflix Announces Ad-Supported Subscription Tier Launch Date and Price

Netflix will launch its new “Basic with Ads” subscription tier next month for a price that is less than half that of the platform’s standard service. The new cheaper ad-supported tier will cost $6.99 USD per month in the U.S., and will initially launch in 12 countries starting in November, the streaming giant announced on Thursday.
