Previewing the cover art for Daredevil #5 that’s scheduled for release in November, the entertainment giant has revealed a new hooded costume for the street-level superhero. The illustration features Matt Murdock donning his signature tone of red with his “DD” logo emblazoned on his chest and his half-mask covering his eyes, but unlike his previous horned suit, the character is now wearing a red hood over his head that pairs with his beard. Netflix is officially rebooting the cult favorite reality TV series The Mole, based on the Belgian format created by Bart De Pauw, Michel Vanhove, Michiel Devlieger and Tom Lenaerts. According to reports, the show was filmed in Australia in 2021 and is led by Eureka Productions, known for Name That Tune and Holey Moley. The new version of the show will see one player, dubbed the “mole,” try and sabotage the other 11 players that are working together to complete a series of challenges. Each challenge completed will add money to the prize pot, however the money will only be won by one player. While many might be attracted to Netflix‘s upcoming ad-supported subscription tier due to its supposedly more affordable pricing, it now appears that there are more restrictions to it than the company has revealed so far. In a new report from Bloomberg, app developer Steve Moser found code embedded within the Netflix iPhone app that seemingly blocks users from downloading shows and movies for offline viewing. Limiting the feature could be a significant factor for new users, especially when you’re hoping to watch something while there’s no reception, perhaps during flights or in certain subway systems. Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are set to bring back the Saw franchise for its 10th installment next year. According to Variety the thriller horror film will see Kevin Greutert return as teh director. Greutert originally led Saw VI in 2009 and Saw: The Final Chapter in 2010. He was also the editor for the first five films of the franchise and 2017’s Jigsaw. Not much detail has been revealed regarding the plot of the Saw 10, however, Greutert is a fan-favorite choice for the film. Amazon Prime has now announced that the debut of its upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will feature the first two episodes. With an eight-episode first season, the six remaining episodes will be released once per week. The premiere of the first two is now set for September 1, 9 p.m. EDT with subsequent chapters coming out every Friday, 12 a.m. EDT until the series finale on October 14.
