Netflix is releasing a hitman killer comedy film starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, titled The Man from Toronto. The film follows Hart’s character as he checks into the wrong AirBnb and is immediately mistaken to be a hitman known as “The Man from Toronto.” As he walks into a basement torture chamber, he quickly realizes that he must pretend to be the assassin from Toronto to save his own life. The real assassin, played by Harrelson finds himself training Hart to be just like him. As time goes on Hart develops a relationship with Harrelson’s character and has to grapple with either turning him into the feds or not. According to a report from Discussing Film, Frank Ocean is currently in talks with A24 and 2AM to write and direct his first-ever feature film. Frank Ocean has worked with A24 in the past, writing the foreword for Barry Jenkins‘ Moonlight and providing soundtracks for Trey Shelts’ 2019 American drama film Waves. Squid Game‘s director Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed in a recent interview that he had purposely planted clues in the first season just in case the second season would be given the green light by Netflix. In an interview with IndieWire that initially, he did not expect the series to become such a global phenomenon.
