James Gunn Reassures Fans ‘Peacemaker’ Season Two Is Safe at HBO Max

James Gunn eased the worries of Peacemaker fans by reassuring them that the show’s upcoming season will continue on HBO Max. The director responded to a fan on Twitter who wrote that they have “[b]een a little worried that the alleged shake-up at [Warner Bros],” replying with a photo of John Cena as at the titular character and writing, “No need to be worried on behalf of #Peacemaker. A Pac-Man Live-Action Movie is in the Works from Bandai Namco

A live-action film based on the classic arcade game Pac-Man is currently being developed by the original company behind the video game, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and Wayfarer Studios, led by Justin Baldoni and Steve Sarowitz. First released in 1980, Pac-Man is a game where players control a munching yellow puck who must eat all the dots in the maze while avoiding colored ghosts. The game was a widespread commercial success, becoming one of the best-selling games ever, and continues to permeate into contemporary culture. Although Cruise is currently in the midst of filming Mission: Impossible 8, reports claim that he and McQuarrie are currently working on three new projects — “an original song and dance-style musical,” an action film “with franchise potential” and possibly a Les Grossman-focused — the studio executive character Cruise played in Tropic Thunder — title, however the latter may not be a full film and instead join other titles. ‘One Piece’ Manga Breaks Guinness World Record, Surpassing 500 Million Copies

Just last week, Eiichiro Oda’s legendary One Piece manga officially broke a Guinness World Record. The ever-popular manga has surpassed 500 million copies published globally. Amongst the copies sold, 416,566,000 are sold in Japan with 100 million copies sold in areas outside of the origin country in 60 countries and regions overseas. In June 2015, the manga also set another record for selling 320,866,000 copies worldwide by December 2014.
