The teaser confirms the return of lead actress and creator Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Lisa Ann Walter, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James and Chris Perfetti as Abbott Elementary staff Janine Teagues, Gregory Eddie, Melissa Schemmenti, Barbara Howard, Ava Coleman and Jacob Hill, and sees them walking towards the doors of Abbott Elementary only for Ava’s keys to not work on the main doors. Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures are set to bring back the Saw franchise for its 10th installment next year. According to Variety the thriller horror film will see Kevin Greutert return as teh director. Greutert originally led Saw VI in 2009 and Saw: The Final Chapter in 2010. He was also the editor for the first five films of the franchise and 2017’s Jigsaw. Not much detail has been revealed regarding the plot of the Saw 10, however, Greutert is a fan-favorite choice for the film. Amazon Prime has now announced that the debut of its upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will feature the first two episodes. With an eight-episode first season, the six remaining episodes will be released once per week. The premiere of the first two is now set for September 1, 9 p.m. EDT with subsequent chapters coming out every Friday, 12 a.m. EDT until the series finale on October 14. Guillermo del Toro has shared a first look at Cabinet of Curiosities, his upcoming horror anthology series debuting on Netflix this Halloween. The eight-part series will include two original stories from del Toro himself and will debut on October 25 with a special four-day, double-episode Netflix & Chills Halloween event. DJ EFN has clarified the reason behind the removal of the Drink Champs episode that featured Black Star and a special guest appearance from Dave Chappelle. In a statement made to HipHopDX, the co-host explained that “miscommunication” was to blame, but fans can expect the episode to return. “There was some miscommunication, but we got on the phone with Dave and his team and agreed to properly release through our regular release schedule and partners,” he said. “All is well and hopefully more of what was filmed will make the official release.
