Marvel Cinematic Universe Expands With New ‘Nova’ Project

Nova is officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a recent report from Deadline, the new project is expected to be penned by Moon Knight‘s own scribe, Sabir Pirzada. Nova first appeared as a comic book character in the 1976 issue of Super Adventures. He was a member of a the intergalactic police force, Nova Corps, where he gained superhuman strength, flight and injury resistance capabilities. While there has not been many instances where the character has found itself crossing paths with the MCU, audiences did catch a glimpse of Nova in 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy. Prime Video To Produce James Bond Competition Show

Amazon Prime Video has announced plans to produce its first James Bond series titled 007’s Road to a Million. The eight-part show, which will follow a Bond-inspired race around the world, will be produced by 72 Films, MGM Television and Bond guardians and producers Barbara Broccolo and Michael G. Wilson. The project has been in development for approximately four years at Prime Video, according to sources via Variety, meaning the series has been in the works long before Amazon’s $8.5 billion USD deal with MGM closed last week. A Live-Action ‘Voltron’ Movie Is Now in the Works

According to reports, there is now a Hollywood bidding war over a live-action Voltron film currently in the works. Following several attempts to bring the series to the big screen, Red Notice director Rawson Marshall Thurber is now attached to co-write and direct an adaptation of the series based on the Japanese sci-fi series Beast King GoLion and Kikou Kantai Dairugger XV. Earlier this week, the Twitter account for the Kengan Ashura manga announced a sequel to the anime adaptation. The post reveals that the anime for Yabako Sandrovich’s series will be available worldwide via Netflix. The sequel of the Kengan Ashura anime will chronicle the finals of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament and the conclusion of the original story.
