The Fast & Furious franchise is gearing up for its tenth installment, but it appears that producer Neal Moritz wants to scale back the premise of the film. Over the years, the franchise has taken a turn to become one of the more outlandish action-driving series. Jason Momoa is in final negotiations to star in an upcoming Warner Bros. live-action film based on the popular video game, Minecraft, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie, which is named after the aforementioned gaming title, will be directed by Napoleon Dynamite filmmaker Jared Hess. The film has been in the works for quite some time — Warner Bros. first announced the project in 2014 before sharing that Free Guy director Shawn Levy would helm the movie. According to reports, the Sega Genesis Streets of Rage franchise is now rumored to be adapted into a movie. Netflix Is Turning ‘Exploding Kittens’ Into a TV Show and Mobile Game

Netflix has now announced plans to adapt the popular Exploding Kittens card game into an animated TV series as well as a mobile game. Announcing the new projects over on its media page, Netflix says that it’ll be turning the beloved card game into an “exclusive” mobile game that’ll launch sometime in May while an “adult animated series” will follow in 2023. The mobile game itself will simply re-create the classic Exploding Kittens experience on your smartphone or tablet but also introduce two new exclusive cards that’ll shake things up a bit. The series of short films, produced by Tim Miller, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen first debuted in 2019 with an 18-episode first season followed by an eight-episode second season.
