YouTube is officially allowing its American users to stream thousands of free, ad-supported episodes of popular TV shows for the first time. In an announcement, YouTube is unveiling episodes from shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Unsolved Mysteries, immediately placing them in competition with over-the-air TV and streaming services. Fan can expect YouTube to feature around 4,000 free TV episodes on top of the already 1,500 films made available earlier this month. The finale episode for the sixth and final season of BBC One’s Peaky Blinders is confirmed to release as a feature-length episode. In a recent conversation with RadioTimes, director Anthony Byrne said that the finale runtime will be 81 minutes and also teased that fans will have a much different expectation of the ending. Paramount+ has released a new trailer for the upcoming ten-episode series The Offer, following the mayhem behind the production of The Godfather. The trailer shows Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy, played by Miles Teller, tasked with adapting Mario Puzo’s (Patrick Gallo) best-selling 1969 novel, The Godfather, which follows the notorious Corleone mob family. As June approaches, DC Comics and Marvel are both looking to celebrate Pride Month for 2022 through their own superheroes, and the two entertainment companies have now offered a preview of what’s to come. On the DC side, fans will be presented with the company’s anthology series DC Pride 2022 on May 31, and there’ll be three new limited series that feature Teen Justice and Tim Drake’s Robin, Nubia and Poison Ivy. Other series will also have variant covers of Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, Harley Quinn and Conor Kent. Roughly half a year after its previous season wrapped up in October of 2021, the fan-favorite My Hero Academia has finally announced the release window for its upcoming season six.
