The first trailer is out for Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The two-minute trailer offers a brief glimpse into Walters’ career as a lawyer specializing in superhuman-focused cases. In her off-hours, she’s being trained on how to control her new powers by her cousin, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk. “The transformations are triggered by anger and fear,” Banner tells Walters during their training session. “I just want to be a normal, anonymous lawyer,” Walter says, cut to news reporters gathering outside her house. It seems that despite Walters’ intention to remain ...
Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts is set to helm a coming-of-age Star Wars series for Disney+, according to a Vanity Fair cover story on Tuesday. The show, which the publication describes as a “galactic version of classic Amblin coming-of-age adventure films of the ’80s,” will take place after the events of Return of the Jedi. Plot details remain largely under wraps. Watts is executive producing the series alongside writer Chris Ford, who wrote the script for Spider-Man: Homecoming. As reported by Vanity Fair, the series is being developed under the code name “Grammar Rodeo,” which references “an episode of The Simpsons in which Bart and his schoolmates steal a car and run away for a week, using a phony educational event as an alibi.” Presen...
Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is fully underway, but many titles such as Shang-Chi and Eternals have focused mainly on introducing its new superheroes without much reference to the rest of the MCU. Luckily, some of the original Avengers such as Spider-Man and Doctor Strange have contributed to this aspect, and now Thor: Love and Thunder are looking to bring the interconnectedness of the massive superhero franchise even further. Spotted in a new image of the upcoming Taika Waititi film that has surfaced, we see both Tessa Thompson‘s Valkyrie and Natalie Portman‘s Mighty Thor convening in a similar way as the Illuminati in Multiverse of Madness, but while it’s no surprise for the two to be appearing on screen, fans have noticed that a new character has found its way into...

Netflix on Tuesday dropped off the official trailer for its upcoming sci-fi thriller Spiderhead, starring Chris Hemsworth. The movie, helmed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski, sees Hemsworth don an American accent as a pharmaceutical genius named Steve Abnesti, who runs experimental tests on prisoners in exchange for shortening their sentences. Based on the George Saunders short story “Escape From Spiderhead,” which was first published in The New Yorker, the film also stars Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollet as lovestruck prisoners who rebel against Steve at the namesake penitentiary. “Beautiful people get away with too much,” Hemsworth’s character says during a scene in the trailer. “I say that having benefited myself from time to time.” Kosinski is directing based on a...
