Cardi B has testified in an ongoing libel and defamation lawsuit against a YouTuber named Latasha Kebe. Filed in 2019, the suit alleges that Kebe, who goes by Tasha K online, led a “campaign of slander” against the rapper by posting multiple videos containing defamatory statements that were each counted millions of views, citing 38 different videos and multiple social media posts. One of the claims included in the lawsuit was that Kebe had told her viewers that Cardi B had contracted sexually transmitted diseases. The trial began Monday in an Atlanta federal courthouse. Netflix has raised the price for its monthly subscription service in the U.S. and Canada, which will be in effect for all new subscribers beginning Friday. In the U.S., Netflix’s basic plan, which does not include HD content and allows only one screen at a time, will cost $9.99 USD per month, an increase from its previous cost of $8.99 USD. Now a copy of Action Comics No. 1 has hit the auction blocks, selling for $3.18 million USD. This comic is now the third most expensive comic book ever purchased. The sale was brokered by Goldin Auctions on behalf of its private client. The particular copy of the DC Comics title is called “The Rocket Copy” because it features a rocket stamp placed there by the 13-year-old who purchased the issue from the newsstand in 1938. The copy has received a 6.0 CGC grading. Netflix is reportedly producing two more sequels for Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds hit heist film Red Notice. According to Deadline, the original film’s director Rawson Marshall Thurber has now begun working on two other sequels to build out the franchise for the streaming giant, and back-to-back production is slated to begin sometime in 2023.
