‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ Reveals Film’s First Official Poster

Four months out from the Sonic the Hedgehog sequel, Paramount has now unveiled the film’s first poster. In typical Sonic fashion, the new poster once again depicts the titular protagonist escaping from Jim Carrey‘s diabolical villain Dr. Robotnik, who is seen in the background pursuing the blue hedgehog in his iconic hovering pod. Unlike the poster for the first film, however, the sequel’s take puts Sonic up in the air, riding on top of his red Tornado propellor plane piloted by none other than Tails himself. Jennifer Lawrence Confirmed to Star in New Apple TV+ Theranos Film ‘Bad Blood’

Apple TV+ is officially in the progress of producing a film based on Theranos’ founder Elizabeth Holmes, titled Bad Blood. Jennifer Lawrence is set to star as the titular character of Holmes, while Adam McKay has signed on to write and direct the project. The movie, which has been in development since 2016, is based on the novel Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Start Up. The visual project will dive into the rise and fall of Holmes’ company and how the youngest self-made billionaire at the time was accused of fraud for her blood-testing startup. The charges later led to Holmes stepping down from the CEO position in 2018 and the company entering into liquidation that same year. Holmes is still currently facing trial for fraud. Nick Offerman Joins ‘The Last of Us’ Live-Action Cast as Bill

Naughty Dog has now confirmed that Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman will be joining the live-action adaptation of The Last of Us as Bill. According to Variety, Offerman will be starring alongside Murray Bartlett, who’ll portray the role of Frank, as the two survivalists live in solitude in their own isolated town. Chernobyl actor Con O’Neill was originally cast as Bill but had to back out after scheduling conflicts, ultimately leading to Offerman’s involvement. Marvel Has Confirmed ‘Shang-Chi 2’ Is in the Works

Marvel Studios is continuing to show no signs of stopping having just announced that it is currently working on a sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. After much commercial and critical success, it comes as no surprise that Shang-Chi 2 will be coming to theaters soon. Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton is set to return as the writer and director of the sequel. Following his controversial Netflix comedy special, Dave Chappelle appears to be back in business with the streaming giant for their Netflix Is A Joke festival next year. Variety has confirmed that Colin Farrell has officially signed on to executive produce as well as star in the latest series spinoff of The Batman. Farrell is set to appear in the upcoming The Batman film starring Robert Pattinson as the titular character. The series spinoff is set to focus more on The Penguin and his rise to power in the criminal underworld of Gotham. The series was fiwrst reported in the development in September, however, Farrell was not yet confirmed to join the cast at the time.
