Sony Pictures confirmed in a new poster that the Green Goblin will make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The poster sees Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man in the middle of chaos brought upon by Doc Ock’s robotic tentacles, Electro’s lightning and Sandman’s sand, while the Green Goblin is flying on his glider in the background sporting the mask Willem Dafoe wore in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films form the early 2000s. Since its conception in 2018, the plot has shifted from the 1990s Colombia to Mexico follow the next threat of the global drug war. Variety has confirmed that Marvel has temporarily shut down its production for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever while actor Letitia Wright recovers from an on-set stunt injury from August. Wright suffered from the injury over two months ago while shooting a sequence that involved a stunt rig. The injury was not initially supposed to impact the filming schedule as Ryan Coogler and the rest of the team filmed in Atlanta while Wright recovered in London. Taika Waititi is set to adapt Alejandro Jodorowsky’s graphic novel The Incal. The original 1970s novel is the first in the series, is a collaborative piece between Jodorowsky and cult filmmaker Moebius. The Incal was what launched the Jodoverse and includes titles such as The Metabarons and Megalex in the comics. Waititi could potentially give a guiding hand in bringing the Jodoverse to film and television. According to a new report from Deadline, the Wonder Woman actress will be joining the film to play the infamous Evil Queen, opposite of the previously-cast Rachel Zegler’s Snow White.
