According to reports, HBO Max is now developing a The Batman spinoff about The Penguin. Reports note that Colin Farrell, who is set to play Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin in the upcoming Matt Reeves directed film, has been approached about reprising his role as the iconic supervillain but a formal deal has not been reached yet. Lauren LeFranc is also currently being attached to write the script, while director Matt Reeves and the film’s producer Dylan Clark would serve as Executive Producers for the project still in its very early stages. The news comes ahead of the premiere of The Batman which is now set for March 22, 2022. The Jackass cast has been known for their extreme stunts for quite some time. Just recently, HYPEBEAST reported the crew’s injury tab over the years. Steve-O made an appearance on Hot Ones alongside his co-star Wee-Man to reveal three top moments where the Jackass scenes were too violent to make the cut. Comedy legend Larry David recently attended STAUD‘s Spring/Summer 2022 show at New York Fashion Week. David was seated front row at the event next to Jared Leto and appeared to be enjoying the show at the beginning. Versha Sharma, Editor in Chief at Teen Vogue, first spotted the iconic comedian at the show and posted the video to her Instagram. The sighting caught many by surprise but it seemed to show David enjoying the show prior to the music becoming too loud. More than two years after its original announcement, Disney has finally announced the official release date for the upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. According to numerous reports, the studio is now planning to release the remake on May 26, 2023, almost four years after the project was initially revealed. Dune director Denis Villeneuve has recently revealed new details surrounding his initial plans for part one and part two of the films. The filmmaker originally wanted to film both films at the same time, despite the fact that the second film has not yet been given the green light. In a new interview with Variety, he discusses why he pitched the studio to do a two-part adaptation, “I wanted at the beginning to do the two parts simultaneously. According to Deadline, the Dunkirk director will be returning once again to the World War II period with his next project, this time focusing on the role American theoretical physicist J. Conor McGregor‘s leg hasn’t yet healed and he’s already involved in a new altercation. Taking place at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, it was reported that McGregor got into a confrontation where both he and Machine Gun Kelly had to be separated, and a drink and punch were thrown. The commotion apparently started after The Notorious approached MGK for an introduction, it was then that McGregor was either given the cold shoulder or pushed by MGK or his security which rubbed the Irishman the wrong way. Marvel Studios has unveiled the first official trailer for its new original series ‘Hawkeye that will be debuted on Disney+ this coming November. Jeremy Renner plays the protagonist and returns as Hawkeye and he’s joined in by a new battle partner in Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld) who claims that she’s the “world’s greatest archer.” The new show takes place in New York City and is set during the Christmas season. The under two-minute clip opens up with Hawkeye attempting to rekindle his relationship with his family by making plans with them for the holidays.
