The Jackass cast has been known for their extreme stunts for quite some time. Just recently, HYPEBEAST reported the crew’s injury tab over the years. Steve-O made an appearance on Hot Ones alongside his co-star Wee-Man to reveal three top moments where the Jackass scenes were too violent to make the cut. The first incident which they have dubbed “box downstairs” was explained by Steve-O as seeing Johnny Knoxville get in a box where the crew then “tucked in some pillows around him, taped it up, rolled it down a huge flight of cement stairs.” He added that the second incident also involved Knoxville where he “shot himself with the 38-calibre Smith and Wesson handgun.” The third scene also sees Knoxville putting his life in danger when he got hit by a car. Steve-O explained, “And when he said...
In Vogue’s video coverage of last night’s Met Gala, the YouTube star Emma Chamberlain was filmed speaking to the tennis star Naomi Osaka, as they stood beneath the entrance to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. “I, like, forgot that there’s art in there,” Chamberlain said. It has felt, in recent years, that the media dominance of the Met Gala — which takes place annually to raise funds for the museum’s Costume Institute — has threatened to overshadow the significance of the museum itself. The days and weeks after the event (which typically occurs on the first Monday in May, but was postponed to last night due to COVID-19 lockdowns) are a glut of outfit galleries, fit rankings, and ‘who wore it best’ polls. This year, though, it felt like something didn’t quite click. Sure, there were t...

Comedy legend Larry David recently attended STAUD‘s Spring/Summer 2022 show at New York Fashion Week. David was seated front row at the event next to Jared Leto and appeared to be enjoying the show at the beginning. Versha Sharma, Editor in Chief at Teen Vogue, first spotted the iconic comedian at the show and posted the video to her Instagram. The sighting caught many by surprise but it seemed to show David enjoying the show prior to the music becoming too loud. In another video posted by Emilia Petrarca, David can be seen looking down and paying no attention to the models strutting down the runway in their designated attire. While it is unclear if he enjoyed the show at all, it is quite evident that the music might have been too loud for the comedian. In the most Larry David way, he plug...

In a new interview with Variety, he discusses why he pitched the studio to do a two-part adaptation, “I wanted at the beginning to do the two parts simultaneously. For several reasons, it didn’t happen, and I agreed to the challenge of making part one and then wait to see if the movie rings enough enthusiasm. As I was doing the first part, I really put all my passion into it, in case it would be the only one. But I’m optimistic.” He continues to discuss what he thinks the second film will be like when filming doe...

David Simon, the creator of HBO‘s The Wire, penned a tribute to the late Michael K. Williams in a new New York Times op-ed. The author, writer and producer admitted that he “misread the man from the start,” adding that it was Ed Burns, his writing partner, “who had first spotted Mike’s read for Omar on a tape of two dozen New York auditions a year earlier.” He continued to share a story about how it became tradition for Williams to ask the writers room what they plan on saying with the new eason of The Wire: “He gave us an astounding gift — an act of faith from a magnificent actor who could have played his hand very differently. Television usually chases its audience — if they love them some Omar, you feed them more Omar. If they can’t stop looking at Stringer, you write more Stringer. Nev...
