The Library of Congress has announced its 2024 list of movies that will be preserved in the National Film Registry.Among the 25 films to be added into the registry are The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Social Network, Dirty Dancing, No Country for Old Men, Up in Smoke, Uptown Saturday Night and Spy Kids. “Films reflect our nation’s history and culture and must be preserved in our national library for generations to come.
