In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, it feels important to cling to order wherever we can find it. It might seem like a small thing, but organising your wardrobe is a simple place to start. Think about it: we get dressed every day, so if our clothes are messily crammed into random drawers or hanging haphazardly off cheap hangers, we’re going to experience the same self-inflicted annoyance on a daily basis. A tidy wardrobe is a tidy mind. There are other perks, too. “Knowing how to properly store and care for your clothes not only helps you create a calm wardrobe but also extends the life of your clothing so that you can enjoy them for longer,” Maria Bettis, organisation expert and founder of Slow Style Mindset tells me. “I remind my...

Season two of the Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That... has begun filming, which means one thing: new fashion looks! Season one was full to the brim of the fashion-forward and unexpected combinations that we’ve come to expect from Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda. New BFF of Carrie, Lisa Todd Wexley, may be a new character, but the looks created for her have already given us a sense of her truly spectacular style. Our first sneak peek of season two has already got the fashion set talking, thanks to costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago’s of-the moment styling. Last season, Rogers and Santiago kept Carrie’s styling fresh yet true to the original series, combining modern looks with throwback styles that had us recitin...
It’s bizarre to think that there was a time when midi dresses weren’t as prevalent as they are now, but such a time did exist, and I practically shudder at the thought. Without midi dresses, my wardrobe would certainly be a less fabulous place. My outfits would probably involve jeans at any given turn. But thankfully, midi dresses are considered a closet staple—one which I certainly get endless wear out of. As easy as they are to throw on, you still need to consider how to style your midi dresses, and perhaps the most important component of any midi-dress look is shoes. Now, more shoes work with midi dresses than ones that don’t, so this isn’t a styling dilemma you need to lose sleep over. That said, there are some shoe styles I think work especially well with ...
You don’t need to scroll very far on Instagram to see that oversize is the silhouette du jour. Specific though it may sound, I guarantee that once you clock the pairing, you’ll suddenly see it wherever you go. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. As regular readers will know, M&S is one of our favourite high street giants for good quality, well-executed wardrobe heroes that are affordable, too. With an abundance of classic pieces in its midst, from camel coats to cashmere, it has cemented itself as a go-to destination for, well, just about everything your wardrobe could need. So, it makes sense that the whole Who What Wear team get very excited when the retailer drops a sale. But what will the British icon be offering in 2022? Over the last few years the retailer hasn’t officially taken part in Black Friday, but all hope is not lost, as there are always plenty of great savings to be made during the Black Friday sale period, meaning there are myriad of opportunities to score some timeless staples at a lower p...

London-based brand Heist has a lot of hype, as it claims to have created the perfect pair of tights. Out of the 23 tights I tried, these were my favourite. Thanks to the high thread count (5000 yarns of nylon compared to the average 500), they’re soft, and the stretchy waistband and removal of the gusset mean they keep their shape and don’t droop. Gone are the days of trying to find a quiet corner to subtly hoist up your saggy tights. You also don’t realise quite how annoying the centre seam and seams on the toes are until they are gone. The only seams on Heist tights are at the base of your foot, so they don’t snag against your toenails. They might be more expensive, but with detailed washing instructions and the snag-free design, they’re a sensible inve...
Back in 2018, Zara, quite unexpectedly, entered into the realm of the big Black Friday sale for the first time. Unlike many retailers that continue to do Black Friday for a fortnight, Zara’s sale was quite abruptly called Friday 23, and it offered 20% off selected items. It set a precedent that we had, up until that point, thought was impossible. This is a retailer that reluctantly goes into sale even at the most traditional times of the year, so it was weird and exciting that it took part in the Black Friday parade. Since 2018, Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become a far greater presence in the world of discounting and peak retail moments. And yes, although the occasion normally marks the moment your inbox is flooded with offers of half-price paddle...
