Love says the collaboration with Peck came about organically, explaining on her site that the two first met about ten years ago at a house show in North Carolina. The designer gifted Peck a couple pieces of jewelry, and he loved them so much, he designed to work with her on an original piece that could combine both of their styles and personalities. The Orville Peck x Pamela Love collection features two vintage-styled rings that use Peck’s trademark cowboy hat as inspiration for the main band, and his fringe mask as the overlay. The rings also hark back to motifs found in American folklore, something both artists credit as inspiration for their work. The gender-neutral design makes it easy to wear the rings on any finger. Though the rings were first introduced over a year a...

Originally $96, Happy Socks’ flash sale has the Beatles six-pack of socks for $57.60 on HappySocks.com. The unisex designs are available in multiple sizes. The socks sold quickly when the collection was first launched, and they’re expected to move fast as part of the new sale. Lucas Moura has insisted that the whole Tottenham squad are united behind under-fire boss Jose Mourinho amid the club’s turbulent 2020-21 campaign. Mourinho’s position in the Spurs dugout has been called into question in the wake of a nightmare week which saw the team follow up a north London derby defeat to Arsenal by exiting the Europa League in shocking fashion at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb. Spurs were thrashed 3-0 in the second leg of that last-16 tie in Croatia, but responded by beating Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League on Sunday, with Moura issuing a rallying cry in his post-match interview. “It’s been a very bad week for us, the feeling was very bad,” the Spurs winger told the Evening Standard : “Last night, we showed our nature, we showed attitude. “The good thing about footbal...
High fashion houses have been calling on dance music producers to spin at their runway shows for years, such as Daft Punk for Louis Vuitton and Justice for Dior Homme. He has now released “Inxtro,” the last installment of four tracks specially composed for Prada‘s 2021 shows. The mixes, released under Hawtin’s Plastikman alias, were commissioned by co-creative directors Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the latter of whom tapped Hawtin while he was still with Calvin Klein. “Inxtro” was created for the Fall / Winter 2021 Womenswear collection. The show debuted at Milan Fashion Week on February 25th, 2021. “[It] evolves t...
Eagle-eyed hardcore fans had some beef with the historical accuracy of a Cro-Mags T-shirt in the new movie Wonder Woman 1984, but the band’s longtime singer quickly put those questions to rest. In fact, it was John Joseph who sent the shirt to director Patty Jenkins for use in the film. The scene in question shows a group of punk rockers walking through Washington, D.C.’s Metro station, sporting Mohawks and band t-shirts. One of the punks is donning a Bad Brains shirt, while another is wearing a tee featuring the artwork from the Cro-Mags album The Age of Quarrel. Problem is the film is set in 1984, but that Cro-Mags LP didn’t arrive until 1986. That led hordes of hardcore punk fans to hit social media to call out the movie for a fashion faux pas. However, Joseph was quick to point out tha...
