Hold onto your blue wool jackets and frumpy red hats while you read this news: Paddington 3 is coming. Representatives from Studiocanal have confirmed that a third entry in the beloved Paddington bear franchise is officially in development. In an interview last week with BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, the series’ star Hugh Bonneville cryptically revealed that there was “forward momentum” on the third Paddington film and that it was “somewhere on the horizon” (via Variety). It looks like that upcoming Mr. and Mrs Smith reboot with Phoebe Waller-Bridge isn’t the only thing Donald Glover has in the works at Amazon Prime. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Glover has signed a multiple-year, eight-figure deal with Amazon — and apparently he’s brought Malia Obama (!) onboard as a staff writer for one of his first projects there. This deal has reportedly been in the works for weeks now. Disney has just released the trailer for Cruella, their new live-action movie about the iconic 101 Dalmatians antagonist Cruella de Vil, and Stone slips into the titular role with plenty of panache.
