Lollapalooza Paris Postponed to Summer 2022
As live events and festivals begin to set their sights on a brighter post-COVID future in 2021, Lollapalooza Paris has opted to postpone once again amid uncertainty surrounding safety regulations into the summer. Originally slated for July 17th and 18th, 2021, Lollapalooza’s Paris edition will forgo another year in order to ensure safe operations and a semblance of normalcy in the aftermath of the COVID-19 era. Tunisian-French rapper Swagg Man sentenced to three years imprisonment
Tunisian-French rapper Swagg Man, known for the Louis Vuitton logos tattooed on his head, has been sentenced to five years in jail for fraud and money laundering, the judiciary said Tuesday. NDLEA seizes 200kg of hard drugs at Lagos, Abuja, Kano airports
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) simultaneously seized 200 kilograms of illicit substances at the Lagos, Kano and Abuja airports last week. Its Director, Media and Advocacy, Mr Femi Babafemi, made this known in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja. He stated that a 41-year-old Adewuyi Olayinka was arrested while trying to export 650 grams of cocaine to the United Kingdom. Patrick Achi, secretary general to the presidency of the Ivory Coast, was appointed Monday interim prime minister while the country’s premier, Hamed Bakayoko, is in Europe receiving medical treatment, the president’s office said. “State minister Patrick Achi will take over the functions of prime minister and head of government in an interim capacity,” the presidency said in a statement.
