‘Wordle Archive’ Forced to Close by New York Times

New York Times is shutting down any possibility to make Wordle easy for users. Since one of the main features of Wordle is that one new puzzle is released once per 24-hour, that means there is a large back catalog of puzzles ready to play. March 17th marks the 271 consecutive games and with the help of a third-party platform called Wordle Archive, fans have been able to go back to their previous puzzles to try out what they have missed, free of charge. However, the website now showcases a message that reads, “Thank you for playing the Wordle Archive, and for all your nice comments and feedback that helped make the site better. ‘Elden Ring’ Sells Over 12 Million Copies Worldwide

While publisher Bandai Namco initially predicted that FromSoftware‘s Elden Ring would sell around 4 million units, the game has more than surpassed expectations. In the 18 days following its release, over 12 million copies of Elden Ring have been sold worldwide, the two companies announced on Monday. According to the press release, the game was released throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. 1 million units were sold in Japan alone. While reviews seem to point towards the Steam Deck not fully optimized to run current, modern games, it does however look pretty mighty when it comes to emulating older consoles. Over on YouTube, gaming channel ETA Prime just published a video showcasing the myriad of emulation capabilities the new handheld device possesses. Rumors of a battle royale mode for Halo Infinite have long been discussed across the fan base, but now it seems that leaks have surfaced suggesting that 343 Industries is indeed bringing the highly popular mode to the game. In a tweet from HaloHub, the Halo-centric community-run page posted a screenshot of what it says resembled a successor to Halo 5‘s Warzone mode, but with a battle royale twist to its rules and play style.
