Bungie will become the latest addition to the Sony Interactive Entertainment team, which also includes Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Sucker Punch Productions, Bluepoint Games and several other studios. The Witcher‘s GWENT will receive a new, standalone, single-player game that will launch later this year, according to a new report from IGN. The game, which is codenamed Project Golden Nekker, is currently being developed by CD Projekt Red‘s GWENT team. The gameplay will not require users to own any other editions of GWENT in order to engage in the full single-player experience. GWENT first appeared as a minigame in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before turning into a standalone multiplayer title in 2016. Working in partnership with metaverse developer Republic Realm, the classic game brand has now launched a series of NFT loot boxes it calls “GFT” (for Gifts). A clip has now surfaced showcasing Boba Fett bounty hunting in a canceled Star Wars video game from LucasArts. Featured above, the three-minute clip features the galaxy’s most infamous bounty hunter venturing through the dark and grimy underbelly of Coruscant, tracking down his targets while maneuvering in a parkour-like manner. While the clip itself has just come into the limelight, it turns out that similar video footage was released a few years ago by then LucasArts animation director James Zachary, who worked on the canceled title Star Wars 1313.
