During Xbox‘s 20th anniversary event on Monday, Microsoft announced that it is adding 76 games to the Xbox backward compatibility program. Among the titles added to the library are the entire Max Payne series and F.E.A.R franchise, along with Skate 2 and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II. Each game added to the program will support Auto HDR on both Xbox Series X and Series S consoles. Additionally, each game will receive increased resolution — on the Xbox Series X and Xbox One X, titles will be available at four times their original resolution, while the Xbox Series S will provide three times the native resolution and the Xbox One S and Xbox One will receive double. Boba Fett is officially headed to Fortnite on December 24 at 7 p.m. ET. Epic Games will add the famed bounty hunter to its gameplay ahead of The Book of Boba Fett‘s debut on Disney+ on December 29. The gaming company has not disclosed many details about the partnership; however, based on the teaser art Epic shared to Twitter, Fett’s partner Fennec Shand will also become available in the game. According to Bloomberg, Sony has downgraded its forecasted production by one million units for the fiscal year, due “component and logistics constraints.” Sony had predicted manufacturing 16 million units of its fastest-selling games console by March, but has now cut that number to 15 million. What started as an April Fool’s joke has now become a reality with SecretLab dropping a scaled down version of its TITAN gaming chair for pets or children. SecretLab first “teased” the TITAN XXS for pets as an April Fool’s joke but was quickly deluged with requests to add the pet-orientated product to its product offering from customers offering up photos of their pets taking over their chairs. Twitch is now available for download on Nintendo Switch. Users can now watch both live and video-on-demand content in both handheld mode and on the big screen. All of the regular functions such as easy access to followed channels, browse by category, search functions, and VOD playback from streamer’s profiles are enabled, while chat functions are still unsupported. Instead, users can scan a QR code on the phone to join the live chats. Users also won’t be able to stream through the Switch Twitch app, likely due to bandwidth limitations. According to reports, Call Of Duty: Vanguard could be set to receive some major crossovers in the near future. Thanks to notable Call of Duty dataminers Nanikos, Zesty and Drake Hurley, we are now learning about files found in Vanguard that reference elements from Marvel‘s Captain America, Indiana Jones and Attack on Titan. Files refer to “aot_sword,” “aot_titan,” Captain America player banner backgrounds and more.
