‘Battlefield 2042’ Drops New Trailer Announcing Open Beta Dates

After enduring several delays to its release date, EA has finally announced the open beta period for the long-awaited Battlefield 2042, dropping a trailer at the same time to give players a closer look at what to expect. The overall period will take place between October 5–10, although the game itself will only be playable for two days for most. Preloads will begin on the first day where gamers will be able to download the beta version of the title on their respective platforms, followed by early access to the experience on October 6 and 7 when servers go live for those who have pre-ordered the game. Earlier in February, Squidmar Miniatures unboxed an ultra-rare Thunderhawk Gunship model from Warhammer 40,000 over on its YoutTube channel, and now the painted model has been auctioned off for a staggering $35,000 USD. Activision Blizzard and US Employment Watchdog Agree to $18M USD Lawsuit Settlement

Activision Blizzard and the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) have agreed to a lawsuit settlement worth $18 million USD. According to reports, the gaming company will start an $18 million USD fund to pay compensation for employees, put a stop to its discriminatory practices, contract a consultant to “ensure compliance,” improve training and the process of its performance review to avoid any future offenses and, finally, comply with future audits from the EEOC. “We will continue to be vigilant in our commitment to the elimination of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Resident Evil 4 will be available to play in VR on Facebook‘s Oculus Quest 2 beginning October 21, the company announced on Monday. The survival-horror game, which was originally released on Nintendo GameCube in 2005 with a third-person view, will now be playable from a first-person perspective for the first time.
