According to new reports, the DFEH claims that Activision Blizzard’s human resources team began destroying documents within the company that pertains to the ongoing inquiry, an act which is illegal in itself as the developer is required by law to provide such documentation to the state. This new game features game mechanics similar to Blizzard’s Hearthstone but takes full advantage of Yu-Gi-Oh!‘s two decades of dueling history — giving rise to over 10,000 cards. During Wednesday’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, Sledgehammer Games unveiled the first extended playthrough of one of Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s campaign missions: Stalingrad Summer. Included in Gamescom’s first look was an interview with Laura Bailey, the actress behind one of Vanguard‘s main characters: Soviet sniper Polina Petrova. During Gamescom 2021’s Opening Night livestream on Wednesday, Microsoft confirmed that Halo Infinite will officially launch on December 8 for Xbox and PC. Microsoft originally planned to release the game in tandem with the Xbox X/S in November of last year, but ultimately postponed Halo Infinite‘s debut to fall 2021 due to the pandemic. Halo Infinite‘s campaign and multiplayer modes will arrive in December as part of season one, “Heroes of Reach.” Though the game will not launch with campaign co-op or Forge mode, cooperative gameplay should become available in season two, roughly three months after the game’s initial launch. Four years after its initial launch, Bungie‘s Destiny 2 has now announced an upcoming expansion named The Witch Queen. Scheduled to arrive in early 2022, the multiplayer shooter’s fourth expansion will introduce Savathûn as the new enemy, also known as the Witch Queen. In celebration of Gamescom 2021, Microsoft has announced a series of updates coming to hits highly regarded Microsoft Flight Simulator, including a competitive multiplayer mode. Releasing a trailer (which you can view above) along with the announcement, Microsoft Flight Simulator has showcased an upcoming “major expansion” that’ll bring into the game an eight-player racing mode based on the Stihl National Championship Air Races. Microsoft will soon be bringing cloud gaming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The company made the announcement on Tuesday during its Gamescom 2021 showcase, in which it revealed its biggest lineup of exclusive games and highlighted updates to several of its popular titles. Come this holiday season, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play over 100 games from the cloud, allowing them to try out Xbox Game Pass titles before installing them.
