Bungie and Ubisoft have now taken Ring-1 to court over the latter’s manufacturing of cheats for numerous games. According to new reports, Ring-1 creates cheats for players online and makes them accessible through subscription-based memberships. The cheats span across a number of games — including AAA titles — such as Bungie’s Destiny 2, Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, Escape From Tarkov, and even Dead by Daylight, and offers hacks like infinite ammo and aimbots. Following McDonald’s announcement to give away custom Playstation 5 DualSense controllers in celebration of its 50th birthday in Australia, Sony immediately put a stop to the release. A gamer has been shocked through his wired controller by a lightning strike this past weekend. The freak accident took place on late Saturday night to early Sunday morning when the National Weather Service posted on social media that a man “was reportedly struck by lightning inside his home through a video game controller” during a storm in Robertson County, Tennessee. Assistant director of the county’s Emergency Medical Services Josh Rice later confirmed that around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, medics had responded to a call from a man in Greenbrier who said he was struck by lightning. The highly anticipated PlayStation title Horizon Forbidden West has reportedly been delayed until 2022. According to Bloomberg, Sony has decided to push back its release date from this year’s holiday season to the first quarter of next year.
