A pair of PlayStation 5 dev kits were listed on eBay for auction but only managed to stay on for a few hours before being taken down by the e-commerce platform. According to Kotaku, the listing included both consoles and managed to reach a price of €2,850 EUR (roughly $3,373 USD) before being removed by eBay just hours later. The listing also included a pair of blacked-out DualSense controllers, which don’t seem to be for general sale since those on offer now are two-toned. YG Entertainment has officially unveiled the upcoming BLACKPINK Island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The custom-made island is set to release on August 6 and celebrates the group’s fifth anniversary on August 8. BLACKPINK is officially dropping into PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. The collaboration includes an in-game event, exclusive items, and thematic elements scattered throughout the maps. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will all get their own cosmetic bundle including themed outfits, hair, nameplates, helmets, weapons, and emotes for a total of 35 distinct items. Contrary to Microsoft’s loss-making strategy for Xbox harware, Sony has just revealed that its $499 USD PlayStation 5 is finally turning a profit. The next installment in Activision Blizzard’s Diablo series has been postponed until sometime during the first half of 2022 so that developers can have more time to tinker with the game. First announced at BlizzCon in 2018, the free-to-play RPG Diablo Immortal was slated for release later this year, but a recent blog post on Activision’s website said that developers would be working on fine tuning certain features of the game after receiving feedback from its closed test participants.
