A diehard Zelda fan has now created a Google Maps experience for one of the franchise’s most beloved titles in recent years: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Building the interactive map as part of his computer science studies, YouTuber Nassim‘s Software re-created the entire Hyrule with a top-down view in a web browser much like Google Maps. You can then zoom in gradually with pins located at various landmarks in the game, all the way down to the Street View of those locations. On the Guile front, the war veteran dons his classic green outfit from the original Street Fighter II, while Epic offers a variant skin named Glistening Guile, depicting him in a beach-ready outfit complete with aviators. Nintendo Switch has now outsold popular gaming consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360. The news comes from Nintendo’s financial data, revealing that the console has sold just over 89 million units. The newly released figures make Nintendo Switch the seventh most-sold gaming console of all time. The PS3 has sold 87.4 million units and the Xbox 360 has sold 84 million units. What makes this accomplishment for Nintendo more impressive is that the console debuted in 2017, reaching this figure in just under five years. Call of Duty shared a cinematic trailer for the upcoming Season 5 for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone on Tuesday, unveiling several additions to both games. Most notably, within the new Black Ops Cold War season, players can now become a “Double Agent” in an investigative multiplayer mode that assigns players to sabotage a given mission across five new maps. A pair of PlayStation 5 dev kits were listed on eBay for auction but only managed to stay on for a few hours before being taken down by the e-commerce platform. According to Kotaku, the listing included both consoles and managed to reach a price of €2,850 EUR (roughly $3,373 USD) before being removed by eBay just hours later. The listing also included a pair of blacked-out DualSense controllers, which don’t seem to be for general sale since those on offer now are two-toned. The custom-made island is set to release on August 6 and celebrates the group’s fifth anniversary on August 8. Contrary to Microsoft’s loss-making strategy for Xbox harware, Sony has just revealed that its $499 USD PlayStation 5 is finally turning a profit. In comparison, it took the PS4 around six months to stop selling the console at a loss in 2013, whereas the PS3 sits at the top of the list having taken several years of sales in order to make a profit. While the PS5 is nowhere close to the PS3 in terms of its profit/loss ratio, the inflow has been slow due to the use of expensive parts and squeezed supply.
