The Official ‘Elden Ring’ Art Book Has Been Released
The official Elden Ring art book collection has just been released. Published by KADOKAWA Co., Ltd., the two-volume set covers all aspects of the game with beautiful illustrations. Split into six chapters, the series starts with Opening Art, then moves to The Lands Between concept art, Characters: Tarnished and Others, Adversary: Bosses and Enemies, Weapon: Great Armaments, and finally, Item Icons and Others. Fans are able to see each facet of the FromSoftware game in a way that can’t be experienced when playing it — catching details that may have been overlooked. ‘Sonic Frontiers’ Will Add New Modes, Story and Playable Characters in 2023
As revealed by Sega, the 2023 content roadmap for Sonic Frontiers indicates three updates for the year, which includes exciting new gaming modes, additional playable characters, and a story expansion. According to the Twitter announcement, the first update will introduce features such as Jukebox and Photo mode for players to enhance their experience in the Sonic realm. New Challenge Modes will also be implemented to give seasoned players more levels to explore. The second update will feature Sonic’s Birthday, Open Zone Challenges as well a new Koco to collect. Blockchain gaming is only four years old — a toddler compared to the rest of the industry. It has a lot of growing up to do, particularly when it comes to play-to-earn games. I’m a 28-year game industry veteran. I’ve produced 32 titles in that period of time on everything from Sega Genesis to Oculus Rift. Some of them were great. Many were forgettable. I didn’t hear much chatter about blockchain gaming from traditional developers and players until Axie Infinity began to take off. Cut to the peak of 2021, and the game had nearly 2 million players logging on daily. The latest trailer of Square Enix’s Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion previews the story and voice cast for the remastered game. First released in 2007, the original PSP game was introduced as a prequel to 1997’s Final Fantasy VII. The upcoming remastered game not only receives a significant glow-up on its visuals and graphics, it will also be fully voiced in English and Japanese. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet for the Nintendo Switch has officially set a record for the gaming company, becoming the fastest-selling in the history of Nintendo. Having just released last week on the Switch, the game has already sold a combined 10 million copies in just three days. Despite players complaining of poor graphic performances and a series of low user scores that have been documented as amongst the lowest on Metacritic, the game is now in the history books at Nintendo.
