Skyrim has long been ported over to the Nintendo Switch, but fans of the franchise will nonetheless be delighted to learn that Bethesda could be bringing the entire Anniversary Edition of the game to the handheld platform. Rumors surfaced after The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition received a PEGI rating for the Switch. The celebratory edition itself includes a whole hose of extra content not found in the original title, including all the DLCs released so far as well as some bonus content created specifically for the edition. Its launch back in 2021 was made available for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms, so it’ll be the first time you’ll get to enjoy all its extra content on your Switch. Sonic Frontiers has now released an overview trailer giving fans of the franchise a better understanding of the premise of the game. As the new clip explains, Sonic finds himself waking up in a mysterious land called Cyber Space, separated from his friends. Luckily, he manages to escape and arrives on the Starfall Islands, where he runs into a series of mysterious ruins and strange inhabitants. His task will be to find his lost friends and figure out what’s going on on these islands. Ever since Microsoft announced its acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Sony has been worried about the possibility of losing Call of Duty on PlayStation platforms, but it now turns out that Xbox has no intention to turn the franchise into an exclusive just yet. In anticipation of its November release, Nintendo and Game Freak have now released a new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Introducing “Grafaiai,” a new Toxic Monkey Pokémon originating from the region of Paldea. Unlike previous installments, Scarlet and Violet will feature three main stories, and there’ll be no specific path you need to follow, meaning you’ll be able to tackle any of the eight gyms in whatever order you’d like. A new feature called Terastallizing will also be introduced, allowing various Pokémon to become gem-like forms with strengthened stats and abilities. Earlier today, the video game developer took to Twitter to announce the next chapter in the longstanding action RPG franchise along with a first teaser image of how it’ll look, and while it hasn’t divulged any other details, for the time being, the post seemingly confirms previous rumors leaked by YouTuber j0nathan. With just two months to go until the highly-anticipated release of God of War: Ragnarok, Santa Monica Studio has now offered fans of the franchise a closer look at how its combat system has evolved for the latest installment. Dubbed The Cowabunga Collection, the game pack includes titles spanning traditional arcade machines, the NES, the SNES, the SEGA Genesis and the Game Boy.
