Pokémon GO will soon receive its first Ultra Beast, according to a new teaser posted to the game’s official social media accounts. The visual confirms the arrival of Nihilego, the Parasite Pokémon, in the mobile title, though it does not disclose when or how the Ultra Beast will enter the game. “These don’t look familiar,” the game teases in its caption. “What’s going on, Trainers?!” Nihilego is one of 11 Ultra Beasts that have previously appeared in Pokémon Sun/Moon and Pokémon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. Building on the popularity of the Pokémon video game remakes, Japanese Twitter user @pokeyugami created an updated take on Pokémon Red and Blue. Originally released back in 1996 for the Nintendo Game Boy, the titles explored the Kanto region and served as the first experience with the franchise for menu. @pokeyugami created a cel-shaded take that toes the line between watercolor and crayon illustration, inspired by the early ’90s artwork associated with Pokémon. Character designs closely follow the illustrations by original Pokémon character designer Ken Sugimori, while Pokémon designs offer a retro visual sensibility. FromSoftware‘s action role-playing video game Elden Ring will receive a seamless co-op mod created by well-known modder LukeYui this Friday. While Elden Ring has previously integrated multiplayer modes into gameplay in a limited capacity, the new co-op mod will allow players to engage in a true multiplayer experience. According to Forbes, the mod will let players team up for combat across the game, ride horses through maps, share progression and items, vote for fast travel and turn on a “friendly fire” mode for more chaos. Additionally, the updated gameplay allows players to spectate with other players when they’ve died in a boss fight. The Pokémon Company has revealed even more new additions coming in the Pokémon GO TCG expansion pack. The company originally showed off 28 cards in the pack last year and has now returned to give fans a closer look at what’s to come on July 1. The expansion will include the mythical Melmetal VMAX and the legendary bird trio Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres. It will also arrive with a transformative version of Ditto disguised as a different Pokémon. Players will have to look for a special Ditto icon in the lower-left corner of the card. Actor Norman Reedus has reportedly confirmed that game director Hideo Kojima is working on a sequel to Death Stranding, according to a new interview with Leo Magazine. Speaking with the publication, Reedus said, “We just started the second one,” during a discussion about his work on the original title. Later in the conversation, while talking about the work that went into capturing his role as the game’s post-apocalyptic delivery man, Reedus said, “It took me maybe two or three years to finish all the MoCap sessions and everything.
