Guns N’ Roses Sue Online Gun Store Named “Texas Guns and Roses”

Guns N’ Roses have filed a lawsuit against an online gun store named “Texas Guns and Roses,” according to NBC News Los Angeles. Attorneys representing the band filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court, alleging that the store — operated by Jersey Village Florist — sells firearms, ammunition, scopes, and body armor via mail “without GNR’s approval, license or consent.” The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages and a court order prohibiting the use of the website name. Furthermore, the band alleges that Jersey Village Florist “selected and adopted defendant’s marks for the purpose of confusing consumers into believing that it was connected or associated with, or licensed by, GNR.” The lawsuit states that the online store purports to sell roses and other flora to justify “whole appropriatio...

9-Year-Old Girl Plays 15-Song Tool Medley on Guitar Gifted to Her by Adam Jones: Watch

Nine-year-old music protege Maya Neelakantan was gifted a signature Gibson Les Paul by Adam Jones and promptly put it to use, recording a 15-song Tool medley. Not unlike Nandi Bushell, Neelakantan has become a YouTube phenom thanks to her gifted guitar skills. You may remember her 15-minute playthrough of Tool’s “7empest” earlier this year — a feat so impressive, it apparently caught the attention of Adam Jones himself. A couple months ago, the Tool guitarist bequeathed one of his prized signature model Gibson Les Paul guitars to Neelakantan, who shared the surprise moment in a heartwarming unboxing video. The gift must have inspired the young virtuoso to learn even more Tool songs. Advertisement Earlier this week, Neelakantan uploaded the aforementioned 15-song Tool medley played with the...

Nandi Bushell and Younger Brother Thomas Jam Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name”: Watch

The talent runs deep in the Bushell family! Over the past few years, 12-year-old Nandi has wowed the world with her remarkable musical skills, and now her little brother Thomas is showcasing his chops behind the drum kit. The pair take on the Rage Against the Machine classic “Killing in the Name” in a new jam session. In the clip posted to Instagram, Nandi gives off some serious Tom Morello vibes as she holds the guitar high up in the RATM guitarist’s signature playing style, while Thomas pounds away at the kit like a young Brad Wilk. With equal parts joy and rage, they even give us a joint scream of “killing in the name of” partway into the minute-long jam. “A family that Rages together, stays together,” wrote Nandi alongside the video clip. “I love jamming with my brother @thomas_bushell...

Nikki Sixx Dares To Insult “Whining” Taylor Swift, Gets Called Out by Fans

Oh no, he didn’t! Nikki Sixx dared to insult the mighty Taylor Swift, and he has been met with a swift response from fans. Over the weekend, the Mötley Crüe bassist tweeted, “Is it just me or does Taylor Swift always seems [sic] likes she’s whining about something new every-time she’s gonna drop an album? #WorIsMeMarketing [sic].” (He likely meant @WoeIsMeMarketing as the hashtag.) It would appear that Sixx is referencing the big fuss over the Ticketmaster debacle that left millions of Swifties spending hours online, only to find themselves without tickets to her upcoming 2023 tour. In a statement, Swift wrote, “It’s truly amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them feel like they went through several bear attacks to get them.” Ticketmaster l...

Elon Musk Hits Back at “Crybaby” Trent Reznor After Nine Inch Nails Frontman Quits Twitter

It seems Elon Musk may have been a little “hurt” by Trent Reznor’s decision to quit Twitter. The billionaire owner of the social media platform responded by calling the Nine Inch Nails frontman a “crybaby” despite being a fan of his music. Reznor deactivated his account on Sunday (November 20th), shortly after telling The Hollywood Reporter in an interview that Musk’s takeover of Twitter has been an “embarrassment,” while adding, “We don’t need the arrogance of the billionaire class to feel like they can just come in and solve everything.” Musk, responding to a tweet by “Catturd” that read, “48 hours since @elonmusk reinstated President Trump’s Twitter account and the world still hasn’t ended,” wrote, “And it turns out that Trent ‘nine inch nails’ Reznor is actually a crybaby.” Advertiseme...

Trent Reznor Is “About to Depart” Twitter: “We Don’t Need the Arrogance of the Billionaire Class”

Trent Reznor has called Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter an “embarrassment,” and said he’s “about to depart” the social media platform. Since Musk closed the deal on purchasing Twitter, he has laid off half the company’s staff; instituted an $8-per-month blue verification checkmark fee; issued an ultimatum to the remaining staffers to either return to the office or quit their jobs (which he has since partially retracted); and reinstated Donald Trump’s account. While promoting his and Atticus Ross’ score for the new movie Bones and All, Reznor was asked by The Hollywood Reporter for his take on the current state of Twitter under Musk. “Embarrassment,” replied the Nine Inch Nails frontman. “I’m about to depart. We don’t need the arrogance of the billionaire class to feel like they can just co...
