Standing in solidarity with the global events industry amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Defected Records is launching a series of livestream events featuring a roster of top dance music talent. The announcement follows in the wake of the venerated UK imprint’s successful virtual festivals, which were delivered weekly in the first half of the year. Defected’s We Dance As One livestream festivals will see DJs playing from their favorite local nightclubs, which currently lay dormant due to ongoing event restrictions. Fresh off his rare back-to-back vinyl set with Armin van Buuren, veteran trance producer Ferry Corsten has announced a three-part livestream series as he celebrates 20 years in the industry. Titled Chronos, the series will find Corsten showcasing a trio of unique sets, allowing viewers to choose which journey the trance legend will take them on. Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill broke the news on social media today in separate posts. “Wanna watch Superbad with me, Jonah Hill, Michael Cera, Bill Hader and MORE?? Well, you’re in luck!” tweeted Rogen, who co-wrote the script and starred as a cop.
