Hot off the release of his surprise seventh new album, Honestly, Nevermind, Drake has dropped a wedding-themed music video for the track “Falling Back.” The visuals see Drake return to his acting roots as he weds several women in an elaborate ceremony that also sees fellow Canadians Tristan Thompson make a cameo appearance alongside his mom Sandi Graham. Prior to putting a ring on each of the ladies, Drake shares a special moment with each, performing their unique handshakes. Right around the 1:50 mark, as he readies another handshake, a “Free YSL” message appears on the screen, showing support for Young Thug, Gunna and others who have recently been arrested in Georgia for RICO charges. This is not the only time he brings up the case, as he raps in the track “Sticky,” to “free Big Slime ou...

Tommy Lee Exits Mötley Crüe’s Reunion Tour Kickoff Five Songs into Set Due to Broken Ribs: Watch

It took Mötley Crüe six and a half years to return to the stage, but drummer Tommy Lee only lasted five songs during the band’s reunion tour kickoff in Atlanta on Thursday night (June 16th). Lee explained from the stage that he recently had broken his ribs and that he wouldn’t be able to continue the concert. In his place, Ozzy Osbourne drummer Tommy Clufetos stepped in to complete the gig. The fact that Clufetos was in the building likely meant that Lee probably knew he’d have a hard time finishing the set. According to Ultimate Classic Rock and fan video footage posted to Twitter (see below), Lee told the crowd, “We did it! You did it, we did it, we’re f**king here,” alluding to the fact that the Crüe’s co-headlining “Stadium Tour” with Def Leppard had finally kicked off after a two-year...

Kit Harington to Reprise Jon Snow in Game of Thrones Sequel Series

The legend of Jon Snow has yet to be fully told. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kit Harington has signed on to reprise the character in an upcoming Game of Thrones sequel series. It’s the first known Game of Thrones spin-off series that’ll take place after the events of the original series. In the case of Jon Snow’s character, he was last seen heading North of the Wall after killing Daenerys Targaryen. Needless to say, the news is surprising for a variety of reasons. For one, HBO programming president Casey Bloys previously ruled out a spin-off series featuring the original GoT stars. “Nope, nope, nope. No. Part of it is, I do want this show — this Game of Thrones, [David Benioff and D.B. Weiss]’s show — to be its own thing. I don’t want to take characters from this world that they d...

Yaya Bey : Remember Your North Star

Bey’s focus on the past adds depth and context to Remember Your North Star’s stories about the relationships in her life today. Vacillating between come-ons and teardowns, her stances are always moving. On the woozy “don’t fucking call me,” as she ruminates on post-breakup loneliness in an airy upper register, she describes a toughened sense of adoration for a challenging lover: “Love you like cooked food, baby, you’s a meal,” her pitch-shifted voice chants, “Only cost a few gray hairs/That’s a steal.” She constantly shifts into different modes of lyrical and vocal expression, each one more poetic and surprising than the last. “keisha” is a masterclass in melody, adopting the swagger of R&B’s greatest shit-talkers while retaining Bey’s coolheaded style. The song’s washed-out guitar m...
