This year’s class features a dozen artists and includes some names that may already be familiar like Saucy Santana, Big Scarr and Nardo Wick. According to XXL, the list was determined via daily meetings (in person and via Zoom) with the eventual selections to help determine who was making a name for themselves and establishing themselves for an actual career in order to avoid one-hit wonder status. Ozzy Osbourne Is “Doing Well and On the Road to Recovery” After Surgery to “Determine the Rest of His Life”

Ozzy Osbourne takes a licking but keeps on ticking. The Prince of Darkness is “doing well and on the road to recovery” following major surgery, reports his wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne. Last week, Sharon revealed that Ozzy was set to undergo a “very major operation” on Monday (June 13th) that was “really going to determine the rest of his life.” It is assumed that the surgery was related to correcting structural damage that the metal icon had suffered in a fall in early 2019. At the time, Ozzy dislodged metal rods and pins that were placed in his body after a 2003 ATV accident. Preoccupations Announce New Album Arrangements, Share “Ricochet”: Stream

Preoccupations have revealed their upcoming fourth LP Arrangements, which is set to arrive on September 9th. The four-piece also unveiled the album’s lead single, “Ricochet,” as well as dates for their North American tour this fall. Arrangements was recorded in two parts: first in a series of studio sessions in Montreal during Fall 2019 where most of the album’s bedrock instrumentation was recorded, and then in individual home studio setups over a period of 16 months amid COVID-19 lockdowns, where each band member completed their parts and tinkered with new ideas separately. Produced completely by the band, Arrangements was then mixed by Graham Walsh (Holy Fuck) and mastered by Mikey Young (Total Control).
