Machine Gun Kelly Is Returning to Rap in Next Album

Machine Gun Kelly will be making a return to rap for his next album. In a recent interview with Audacy, the self-proclaimed “music archaeologist” revealed that the project will be for himself. “For no other reason, no point to prove, no chip on my shoulder,” he said, adding that he wants fans to “miss” his pop-punk sound on 2020’s Tickets to My Downfall and 2022’s Mainstream Sellout. “If I keep doing things to prove things to people, I’m going to one, drive myself crazy and two, not make a good product,” he explained. “I made Tickets and Mainstream Sellout because I wanted to make them. Diddy Previews Unreleased Collab With The Weeknd in Beats by Dre Ad

Diddy has premiered an unreleased collaborative track featuring The Weeknd in the newest Beats By Dre ad. The ad follows college footballer Kayvon Thibodeaux, a defensive end for the University of Oregon in a day in the life of training. The 60-second ad is narrated by his mother Shawnta Loice over an untitled and unreleased track by Diddy. The song comes after the rapper announced last July that he was returning to music with a new album titled Off the Grid Vol. 1. Off the Grid Vol. 1 was initially expected to drop in September 2021 but has yet to be released.
