Johnny Brown, the easygoing actor, comedian and singer best known for portraying the housing project superintendent Nathan Bookman on Good Times, has died. He was 84. Fede Álvarez to Direct New Alien Film for Hulu
The Alien saga isn’t over just yet. Fede Álvarez, the Uruguayan director of horror films like Don’t Breathe and the 2013 Evil Dead remake, is set to write and direct an original standalone Alien feature for 20th Century Studios. Ridley Scott — who directed the iconic first Alien film in 1979 and two of its successors — will produce the new project. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Álvarez, a massive fan of the franchise, pitched the idea to Scott years ago. Officials say they discovered vaporizer cartridges containing THC oil in Griner’s luggage. Two Russian language outlets, Interfax News and Sport BC, both report that Griner, 31, was arrested by Russian Federal Customs Service officials at Sheremetyevo Airport near Moscow. The authorities reportedly found the vape cartridges containing cannabis oil after drug-sniffing dogs discovered the goods.
