Chaz Bear has announced his seventh studio album as Toro y Moi: Mahal is due out April 29 via Dead Oceans. Toro y Moi signed to Dead Oceans last October, announcing the follow-up to 2019’s Outer Peace would be due out this year. Kim Gordon is heading out on tour this year. She’s got a U.S. tour that kicks off in March, and then, in May, her itinerary takes her to the United Kingdom and Europe. “I can’t believe the tour is finally happening!” Gordon exclaimed in a statement. “Looking forward to playing with my band who are amazing and bringing the music to you. Peter Robbins, the original voice of Charlie Brown, has died at the age of 65. According to FOX 5 San Diego, Robbins took his own life last week. As a child, Robbins voiced Charlie Brown in six Peanuts television specials, including A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, as well as in the 1969 feature film, A Boy Named Charlie Brown. Robbins was replaced as the voice of Charlie Brown in 1970, but Peanuts continued to use a recording of his “AUGH!!” scream in later specials.
