Blueface Arrested for Attempted Murder

On Tuesday (November 15), the Las Vegas Metro Police Department arrested rapper Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, on a warrant for attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm into an occupied structure. A statement from the LVMPD states that the charges stem from an October 8 shooting. Pitchfork has reached out to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department and Blueface’s representatives for comment. In February, Blueface was arrested for gun possession in California following a traffic stop. In 2021, he was wanted by the police after being caught on camera attacking a bouncer at a California club who allegedly denied him entry without showing ID. Black Eyes to Reunite for First Shows in 19 Years

Black Eyes, the beloved art-punk band from Washington, D.C., are reuniting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The band announced it will play three shows next year, starting in their hometown on April 7 and ending in Philadelphia on April 9. Find the full list of tour dates below.  Black Eyes disbanded back in 2004 just two months before releasing their second and final album, Cough. To celebrate the upcoming shows, Dischord is reissuing Black Eyes on vinyl for the first time, which will be released next spring. Weyes Blood has shared a new song called “God Turn Me Into A Flower.” The latest single from her forthcoming LP And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow, the track features Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) on synthesizer. Weyes Blood has previously shared videos for the And In The Darkness, Hearts Aglow singles “Grapevine” and “It’s Not Just Me, It’s Everybody.” The album is due out November 18 via Sub Pop. For the second night in a row, Bruce Springsteen stopped by the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, this time to perform his cover of Jimmy and David Ruffin’s “Turn Back the Hands of Time.” Check it out below. The track appears on Springsteen’s latest LP Only the Strong Survive, a covers collection of his favorite soul songs. On Monday’s (November 15) episode of the Tonight Show, Springsteen performed his version of Frank Wilson’s “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do).” He’s previously shared videos for his covers of the Commodores’ “Nightshift” and Ben E. Rolling Loud is gearing up for 2023, releasing the official lineup for its California leg.
