According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sequel is being written by Aadrita Mukerji (Supergirl, Scorpion, Reacher) and is, in fact, a sequel, not a reboot, meaning it will continue the story established by 2001’s The Princess Diaries and 2004’s The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. Anne Hathaway, who starred in both films as Princess Mia Thermopolis, does not yet have a deal to return for the sequel, but she’s long said she’d be down for a third movie, so here’s hoping she joins the cast if the film moves forward. Blueface has been arrested for attempted murder in Las Vegas. According to reports, the 25-year-old rapper was outside Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, when between six to eight officers arrived in unmarked cars to execute an open warrant for his rest. Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Blueface is facing felony attempted murder with the use of a deadly firearm or tear gas, as well as an additional charge of discharging a gun into a house, building, vehicle or craft. The identity of the victim has not been verified and the specific details of the incident, which supposedly occurred on October 8, were not revealed. Andy Dick has been sentenced to 90 days in jail and will be required to register as a sex offender, the The Blast reports. The sentencing comes after the disgraced comedian was recently convicted of sexual battery, stemming from a 2018 incident in which a Los Angeles Uber driver accused Dick of groping him. Dick will check himself into the Los Angeles County Jail starting November 17th. When his sentence is complete, he will spend 12 months closely monitored on “summary probation.” He was also ordered to complete 52 Alcoholics Anonymous sessions, 52 sexual compulsion anonymous sessions, 12 mental health counseling sessions, and pay restitution to the victim.
