Netflix has released the trailer for Pepsi, Where’s My Jet?, a four-part documentary revolving around a college student who called the soda company’s bluff about a commercial offering a military plane as part of its loyalty program. Taking inspiration for its title from the 2000 stoner comedy Dude, Where’s My Car?, the docuseries centers around a college student named John Leonard who went on a crusade to acquire enough Pepsi Points to redeem them for an AV-8 Harrier II jet. In a commercial for the Pepsi Stuff program, the company advertised that seven million points would be required to purchase the plane. Since it would take 1.4 million 12-packs to rack up that many Pepsi points, executives thought the number was out of reach. However, the fine print in the catalog allowed cust...
Maisie Williams doesn’t blame you if you checked out of Game of Thrones before the series finale: The actress admits she thinks the hit HBO show, which made her a household name, “definitely fell off at the end.” Williams, who played Arya Stark in all eight seasons of Game of Thrones, got candid about the series on a recent Twitch stream with her brother James: “Honestly, it kinda popped off,” she said of her recent rewatch of the show. “For the longest time… I could never see it from the outside. So I could never say that and actually understand it. For the first time, it feels good to be proud of it. It was 10 years of my life. It feels nice.” But even Winterfell’s greatest had to admit that GoT got tedious as it reached its final seasons. Thankfully, however, Williams see...
Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ duet “Unholy” has hit No. 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and as such, the two have become the first publicly non-binary and transgender artists to achieve the milestone. The Billboard Hot 100 counts all US streaming (video and audio), radio, and sales airplay. First released in September, “Unholy” kicks Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit” down to No. 2, while Harry Styles’ “As It Was” sits at No. 3, Lil Baby debuts at No. 4 with “California Breeze,” and Post Malone and Doja Cat’s “I Like You (A Happier Song)” sits at No. 5. “Unholy” marks both Smith and Petras’ first No. 1: Smith’s 2014 track “Stay With Me” previously reached No. 2 on the chart, while the duet is Petras’ first entry on the list. “I just really don’t want to be the last,” Petras said of being the fi...
Tobin Bell clearly still wants to play a game, because he’s officially signed on for the next Saw movie. Producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules confirmed Bell’s return to Variety, noting, “What a thrill to be reuniting with Tobin. His performance as John Kramer is part of the magic that made this franchise a phenomenon and his character is an active part of this film.” The Saw franchise began in 2004 and starred Bell as John “Jigsaw” Kramer, a killer who didn’t just murder his victims outright, but put them through games to test their will to live. Jigsaw was killed off in 2006’s Saw III, but Bell has appeared in nearly all of the series’ nine films in live or flashback form. The only film he didn’t appear in was 2021’s Spiral, which focused on a copycat killer. ...

Arctic Monkeys brought their first couple of singles from The Car to British TV in the past week. They played “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball,” with Alex Turner at the piano (albeit briefly), for the BBC’s Later… With Jools Holland, and “Body Paint” for Channel 4’s The Jonathan Ross Show. Watch the videos below. Also this weekend, the band shared a long excerpt of their show last month at Brooklyn’s King’s Theatre. That night, Turner stuck around on the piano for the full “Mirrorball” and played an incandescent rendition of The Car’s “Mr Schwartz” on acoustic guitar, accompanied only by touring bandmate Tom Rowley. Last week, the band released a third single from The Car, “I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am.” Arctic Monkeys’ North American tour with Fontaines D.C. kicks off next year. Conten...
Kanye West is facing more consequences as a result of antisemitic comments that he’s made in recent weeks. The rapper is no longer being represented by the booking agency Creative Arts Agency, according to Deadline. And, United Talent Agency, a rival of CAA that previously worked with West, is also speaking out against the musician, with the company’s co-founder and CEO Jeremy Zimmer asking his employees to “support the boycott of Kanye West,” according to Variety. Deadline is also reporting that MRC is not going forward with a completed documentary on West because the company “cannot support any content that amplifies his platform.” And West has apparently lost the counsel of attorney Camille Vasquez, who will not work him because he’s not backed down from his antisemitic statements, acco...

Leslie Jordan tragically died Monday (Oct. 24) in a car accident in Los Angeles. As generations of fans mourn the 67-year-old star, we’re looking back at his career and want to know which of Jordan’s many roles is your favorite. The actor first made a name for himself in the mid-’90s sitcom Hearts Afire, in which he played Lonnie Garr opposite John Ritter, Markie Post and Billy Bob Thornton. The political satire ran for three seasons on CBS, and six years later he gained a whole new audience playing Beverley Leslie — Karen Walker’s hilarious gay rival — on Will & Grace. In between that classic sitcom’s original airing and 2017 revival, Jordan was also enlisted by Ryan Murphy to enter the universe of American Horror Story, ultimately appearing in three different seasons of the popu...
